Mountainous Regions

A set of mountains that looks like the spine of the earth itself, ragged and tall. These spires of stone rested as monuments of the earth's glory and power to create.

Yes! I'm sorry, I was doing government homework!

Those were the words of Sun Tsu, a man of infinite tactical genius and an icon to Shangdi. The oriental man was dressed in nothing terribly special. A white hooded sweatshirt, and just a pair of jeans and black sneakers. As he walked up the edge of the mountains he kept on reading from a black leather bound book. The book was written out in the language of his homeland, Mandarin and it contained the words by which he lived his life.

The Art of War.

A guide of conflict to the blunt but a way of philosophy to those devoted to deciphering it's true meanings. And Shangdi was one such man.

He sought an ally he had made from a while back, and to honor a promise he had made to her...

It couldn't be more glorious, the idea of permanent, succsessful revenge against her creators. Draco's heart, what was left of it, filled with a pleasure unknown for a long time at the thought of bringing those spoon fed immortals to their knees. And better yet, having them know what it's like to suffer without consent or relief for a lifetime.

She watched, and welcomed as she saw her ally approach the entrance to her mountainous home. She could barely contain her grin as she strode outside to meet him.
"Good to see you again..." part of her words were a lie, but what could anyone expect for the embodiment of cunning and desire.

Being in Draco's domain, it was right to honor her in her home. He bowed his head to her as he spoke to her respectfully. "The pleasure of returning is mine.. I've come to fulfill my promise."

"Petty words, Shangdi. You made a deal with me, not a promise. Your life is mine.." She takes him in, sealing the entrance with magic.

"If you take my life, I'm afraid you lose your chance to get even with the gods..."

"You aren't very good at listening it seems..." Draco dismissed his comment
"I'm assuming you have an idea on how to go about this? I am ambitious but I am not a strategist."

"And that... is where I come in..." He showed her the book he took with him on his travels.

Draco examined the cover
"Ah...the Art of War...remind me, how this will help?" She looked at him skeptically

"This book will guide me to the elimination of our enemies..." He closed the book and put it in his bag, "But now... when we first met you said there was a favor you needed of me to test my merit..."

"Ah yes, there are three seals scattered among these mountains. Each of them cursed to kill those who try to break them. Succeeding means you'll break this cursed form the Gods trapped me in..."
She led him back outside
"They're north, and east if here. The first..." Draco pointed to the bottom of the peak they stood on
"Is at the very bottom"

'If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of 100 battles...'

"How exactly would these seals attempt to end me and what might I expect as opposition?"

She went back to the mountain with Leo in hand
"I told you."

After submerging Sagittarius to ensure he wouldn't pose a problem later, "Thank you very much. You've saved us a great burden.."

"Of course I did" Draco swam in the praise "but were a long way from victory."
