Christmas Island

A small island located in the Caribbean, and spot of the yearly Great Red Crab Migration. This is the spot of Cancers birth and had since been made into her home

Shangdi and Crest were following alongside Pisces. The Strayer was being even more reclusive than usual, trying to think his way through what he could do to get his journal back from the man of great power and how to rekindle his trust with Pisces.

As they arrived upon the rocky, little beach shore of Christmas Island, Pisces breathed in
"It's so peaceful here, humans protect this place..." She pointed the hundreds of crabs scattered over the beach "...because of them. Cancer shouldn't be far. We just...follow the crabs." A wave of crab babies were migrating north through the island

The first part piqued Crest's interest, "What do you mean 'Humans protect it'?"

Pisces addressed him as they walked
"To the people of Australia, this place is a habitual sanctuary for the crabs. It might be small, but to them it is a home to remain untouched by the outside influences of this world. No wizard, man or any other creature has been here. And it's all because if the humans desire to keep it safe."

Crest nodded in approval, and he felt a lightness in his heart at this clear display of what good mankind could be capable of. When one constantly goes toe-to-toe with the darker aspects of mankind, one starts to lose hope that humanity has anything worth fighting for. But this goes to show that there is something worth all that struggle, all that fighting.

The reward was unity.

Pisces needed to distract from this growing emotion. She saw Cancer perched atop a craggy black rock surrounded by hundreds of crabs. Her waist length black hair showing brilliantly against her pale skin. She looked out over the ocean with dark red eyes passively stroking the top of a crabs head.

The oriental warrior spoke to her, "Excuse me, you are Cancer correct?"

Cancer looked down at Shangdi uncaring of why he was there or for what reason. "Yeah, I am, why?"

"We need you to agree to something Cancer." Pisces spoke softly, Cancer slightly SLIGHTLY smiled at Pisces and hopped down, the sand turning a gray color under her bare feet.

"What is it?"

"You need to agree to never step foot in China again..."

At this, Cancer's face darkened a considerable amount, and her tone turned bitter
"Why should I? THAT was where my suffering started, the people hated me..."

Do not lash out, Shangdi, the emperor would not approve.


He tried to keep his indignation off his face. So many of his people were lost over diseases and faces a possible contributor brought forth some resentment.

Crest stepped forward, "It's for the greater good. This agreement ensures that you're not all destroyed."

Cancer let a soft scoff slip as she turned back away from them
"Destroyed? By who?"

"By the Yellow Emperor, an old rival of your fathers..."

OOC I'm off to bed, continue tomorrow?

"I have, NO idea who that is." Cancer replied nonchalantly

OOC sure! Night Crouch!

Shangdi stepped forward, "He is the mighty god that ruled all of China in times past long ago."

"And what reason would he have to kill me? You think I relish the pain I bring? I HATE it! All I want to do is help people..." Cancer cried, her red tears dying the ocean "...but everything I touch dies"

"He wants to be sure that none of the line of the Dark one ever threatens his country again..."

Cancer gave Shangdi a look of scourge
"So I'm bad because of my dad? That's so immature..."

"Do not insult the word of my emperor..." Shangdi warned.

"And why not?" Cancer dared "wanting to punish us for our DADS wrong acts? That's...the epitamy of childish!"

The auror stepped between the two glaring parties, "Enough! We're trying to prevent hostilities, not escalate them!"

Cancer scoffed, letting the waves cascade over her feet
"I was just stating a FACT." She said bluntly "I won't go to China ever again, "

"Correct." With that Crest stepped back. He was nowhere near as good at diplomacy as his brother was.

Pisces shot a glare at both Shangdi and Crest as they left
"We have one more to visit...Capricorn." Her voice was less sweet, not as it should be
