Crouch grinned widely, a chesire smile as he aimed his wand at her, "CRUCIO!!!"

She screams out for help as she swerves to miss the spell. 'LEAVE ME ALONE.'

He sighed, suddenly feeling bored. "Have fun with her, Crouch. I'm leaving."

Crouch sighed in annoyance, "Dark lord he has no patience..." He apparated away.

'Im sorry.' I whispered at the healer, still hurting days afer she can come in ot my room, tear stained and shaking.
'its not your fault, River. and i understnad why they did it.'
'I dont. Its just wrong. how could they try to kil you after everything youve done for me?'
'because of you. River...the two people you love and dangerous. You know that. and when ddangerous things get scared...they do what they do best.'
'Kill.'
Rosie siged. 'Yes.'

'How could I love them?' I asked, not for the first time. 'Is this my punishment? I love mosters so i should die? but before i die, i should forget everything except pain from my childhood?'
I felt Rosie flinch. 'No...you cant help who you love. no one can. this is just....unforunate'

I nod, my eyes dropping. I was more and more tired, but sleep terrified me. what if i left, drifted away in my sleep, never to see anything again. 
'rest, River. You need it.'
'no.' I say stubbornly. 
'As your healer, River, I am telling you to rest. I will not let you leave.'
Her voice drifted to silence as the world around me faded to sleep.

He appeared just outside of River's room. He knocked on the door softly as he saw his wife sleeping. "Rosie? I found something for River. A cure I think."

Rosie met his eyes. 'I dont think she wants much from you right now.'

"I found a cure. Let me give it to her."

Rosie shrugged. 'You funeral.' she muttered as she walks out.

He quietly walked inside the room and sat by his wife. "River? River, wake up, I found a cure."

my eyes open but i dont move, keeping my breathing shallow- hoping he will just leave. I don want anything from him...how can i even look at him when he can hurt and kill without breaking sweat?

"River, I found a cure. It's going to give you your memories back and save you. Please take it you'll feel less confused and I'll explain everything then."

'go. away.'

"Baby, please drink it." He pulled out the cup with the red liquid. "Your brother sacrificed his magic for you. So that you could live. Don't let his sacrifice go to waste. That's not something you would do. You're a good person Riv. Drink it."

I sit up, moving away from him, my eyes narrowing with disust. 'You think...' I start quietly. 'You think that would make me want it more? After what...Rosie told me what you did. And you hink i would  want anything, anyting at all, from either of you?'

"River, you're not thinking straight! Drink it now or, god so help me, I will force you to." He was beyond frustrated with this whole damn situation and he just wanted his wife back, just wanted his River back.

'i would rather die.'

OOC please don't make him. He's been through enough, can't she comply for once?

IC He rubbed his face and let out a frustrated huff. "Why have you gotten so stubborn? Can't you just drink this? It's going to help you. I'm sorry about what your brother and I did. We love you too damn much to lose you."

'So insteead of loosing me, you ki someone that someone else loves? How is that fair? How can you...' she shakes her head. 'No.'

"It's what I do, it's what I was raised to do. Protect my loved ones and myself, kill anyone who gets in the way." He was slowly giving up. She wouldn't take it, he would lose her. "I love you. I didn't want you to die."

'you think i want to die?' i ask quietl,reaching over and placing my hand on his cheek. 'i am terrified. but...how can i live when it is only because of anothers death?'

He looked up at her and pushed aside the small hope that she would take the magic. "One death. You will die because someone else was killed?"

'How could i live when i know my heart is only beating because you killed the man Rosie loved? it may only be one death....but it wasnt right. and it wasnt fair.'
