Aquarius's Kingdom

This was my second time taking people here. I was beginning to wonder why so many absolute strangers wanted entrance to Aquarius's castle.
We appeared at it's gates inside the vortex. As the water died down I looked to Topher
"How did you meet Pisces?"

"Well I was relaxing one day and she came up to me. She seemed friendly enough so I offered to show her around."

Looking around me, I can't help but feel like an insignificant speck of dust compared to he grandeur of this place.

"Man, livin' it down sure doesn't apply to this guy does it?"

I shrug
"You know Royalty..." I say as we walk through the gates, "they've always got to live it large."
I grip my necklace a bit
"Hey...do you know what year you were born in? Just asking."

I chuckle nervously about the royalty bit, "Yeah totally..."

"Anyways, 1992."

I scoff a bit
"Your luck, you have my half sister Aries." I look down at my wrist for one second, the veins a dark red
"It's better than being a Cancer..."

"Just takin' a stab in the dark here, but you got some kind of power that can hurt others?" I ask as we continue to look for Pisces.

I nod, clenching my fist closed
"Yeah, it's what makes me the lowliest Horoscope, the fact I was born to make humanity suffer with the power of disease; instead of help it like Libra or Sagittarius or someone else."

"Dude... I totally get where you're comin' from..." I tell him sympathetically. Years back, my powers had.. taken my pops from this world.

I wrap my arms around myself
"And...I want to help everybody but...!" My voice sinks, "I can't..."

"Buddy, I used to keep my distance from everyone for the same reasons... but ya know what, you CAN use it for good."

"I mean, I can cast bad luck so I thought I couldn't do any good for anyone..."

Virgo stood, insulted.
"You will learn manners boy or I will do nothing for you." Virgo teleported them outside Pisces's chamber
"Your on your own from here. And if your rude to Pisces you will regret it." Virgo vanished with the wind

He stepped inside, it had been a while since he had been here. Even so, it was good to see Aquarius was no longer posing any threat.


He looked around for Pisces.

I sat in the main entryway where the kraken slept beneath. Braiding my hair I softly hummed to myself as my feet swayed back in forth in a pool of clear water

"Pisces..." He stepped forward, announcing himself. Although he didn't show it, he was relieved to see she was well.

Pisces turned to her guest and smiled at who it was
"Hello Crest!" She said cheerfully, pulling her ankle length dark brown hair behind her fined ears
"Why are you here?"

"Do you know anything about a green gemstone that has great power?"

"I ask you as you're the eldest, plus I trust you more than the others."

My mind goes back to an old story Damara told me
"The Wendigo..." " I whispered, ""supposedly a being of great demonic power resides in that stone. And thank you for trusting me, my own brother doesn't..."

"What validates this story?" He had to hear the facts to believe it.

"Damara was there when she witnessed him being sealed away. She could take you back to witness it to prove it."

"That would be helpful, thank you..."

Once Honora Castellum had been repaired and able to be breathed in again, Crest had made a point to go through all his possessions to make certain all were accounted for. 

Everything seemed relatively untouched save for one item. One of the most dangerous items he possessed.

He had to visit with Pisces, as she was one of the immortals that he trusted without reservation to assess the situation.

Pisces stormed out the doors, but her light fuschia eyes caught sight of Crest and her breath caught. She hurried down the stairs and looked surprised to see Crest.
"Crest, what...what're you doing here?" She looked past him "I have a terrible feeling, the others are in trouble, I can feel it!"
