Outside of Hogsmeade

"Oh man..." Topher shakes his head, "Look, buddy. Crouch doesn't do anything unless it's got some evil agenda behind it..."

Gerard thinks about it for a long time, looking down at his red, glowing hands.  "It's probably my power..."

"Sounds like Crouchie's MO. Turn you the dark side, cause a lot of destruction, ultimate power, you know supervillain stuff..."

Gerard chuckles.  "So... He's like a classic comic villain?"

"Not sure if Joker ever had a kid, but if he did..." Topher claps his hands together with a smirk, "That's Crouch." He was relieved that someone else in the wizarding world understood comics. He'd tried getting Eugene into them, but all he did was point out the implausibility of them.

Gerard laughs.  "Yeah! We just need a Batman, Batgirl, and Robin!"

Topher laughs heartily, "Well Crestie could be Batman!"

"The look on his face proved that one!"

"Still need a Batgirl and a Robin!"

"Dibs on NOT being Robin! You ever seen him in a movie? He's horrible..."

"Yeah... I don't know enough of your friends to really choose out of them."

"I could introduce you to them! It'd be good to get another comic book geek in the mix! No offense."

Gerard laughs.  "None taken!"

"Thank god! Last time I tried to introduce comics to my friends, my ears had to endure a 30 minute long barrage of 'why men can't fly without magic or a jetpack'.

"Why should anyone care? It's a fun read!"

"Took the words right out of my mouth, G!"

Raven is wandering around, sighing, thinking about her recent date with Gerard.

Raven doesn't know what to think of it all.  She really likes Gerard.  He completely gets her in more ways than one.  But Crouch has been there for her ever since she was set free and lost... But on the bright side, he didn't go with the Strayer's.  He's neutral.  That makes things a bit easier.

OOC Me: 

The young spy kept to herself as she weaved through the thinning throngs of people leaving Hogsmeade. She'd heard rumours of Death Eater chaos, and wanted to check - and if neccessary - regulate the peace. Donia was aware of how unstable the movement was, knowing her work behind the scenes would be essential.

As long as nobody bothers me.


White hair concealed under a nondescript hoodie, her hands remained in her pockets, curling around her wand.

Artemis had gone through his brothers room, looking for what his brother was investigating recently that got him into such a critical state. 

Not much was that new or surprising, until he read one file about a certain woman who helped instigate an anti-wizard hate group that seemed to be forming. Since Crest couldn't investigate for the foreseeable future, Artemis decided to pick up the slack on that case.

Firstly, he started asking around in hogsmeade.

She spotted the streaks of silver hair before she ducked away, applying a small notice-me-not charm to herself. Knowing any more magic than this would be conspicuous, she watched him quietly as he continued his investigations. Various wizards shook their head at her mention, seemingly clueless.

Whoever this lady was, she took pains to not be recognized. 

'Crest would applaud this level of caution.' Artemis thought to himself as he walked out of town to think on everything he had heard today. What would he do to find someone who didn't want to be found and was this painstakingly careful?
