"Okay, let me just work out what I want to say to explain it."

Phoenix took a minute, gathering her thoughts, before speaking again. "Okay, so the Death Eaters are an organised group against us, right? They probably go through some training, too, and they're dedicated to what they do. The people trained at Honora are the same, but backwards, aren't they, in a way? Only the training was - I don't know if it still is - more rigorous."

OOC: No problem, see you!

"Yeah but... okay, I get where you're coming from and all, totally get it. But we aren't given candy bars for being assholes.."

"No, I know that, it was just a bit of a comparison. You're encouraged to be good guys, that's where the difference is."

"But yeah, I get what you're saying..."

"I think that's where H's idea of you guys has come from."

"Makes sense I guess... and I would be lying if I said.." He whispered to her, "That I didn't partially agree with it."

"Don't get me wrong!" He quickly defended. "I love my family to death and wouldn't do a thing against it, but even so, he was kind of right about the soul crushing and it's wrongness."

"I think that's why Pixie might have been curious about it," Phoenix admitted. "You know what she's like. She doesn't like either side. If she could dismantle it all, she would."

"Yeah I mean, I get along with her alright. She's a lot of fun, but for 'the man' guys like Crest... gets them uneasy."

"Out of all of us, I think Pixie and Crest are the ones that'll always be a bit uneasy around each other. They represent what both of them are kind of against, in a way."

"It's foundation versus freedom mostly."

"Pixie is very much one for freedom. If there's anything that she thinks might be able to pin her down, she'll do her best to escape it."

"In a weird way Crest is about freedom too, but freedom with boundaries if that makes sense."

"Yeah, it does. Pixie hates any and all rules. I guess that's probably because she grew up around so many."

"Like what?"

"She was raised by a Death Eater who kidnapped her. How much freedom to you imagine she had?" Phoenix shook her head regretfully. "I doubt she was allowed outside much at all. Someone might have recognised her. She was probably only allowed to read whatever was given to her, which would've been propaganda..."

"Preaching to the choir here... only allowed out on missions, and had to smuggle in comic books by stuffing them down my shirt.."

OOC I'm thinking Pixisan would've worked if they weren't related lol

"She's never really told me what the extent of her imprisonment was. I can't imagine it was anything like the freedom she has today, though."

"Well at least she's out and about now!"

"Yeah, and thank God she saw sense, too!"

"Yeah really.. I think she would've made Crest shit a chicken if they met as Death Eaters."

Phoenix burst into laughter, and it took her a moment to calm it down to chuckles. "Pixie was quite the terrifying Death Eater, I'll admit. Did you know that her original mission was to kill me? I wouldn't have stood a chance."

"Huh... and here I thought she didn't have a violent bone in her..."

"Believe me, give her a cause and a weapon, she'll kill God trying to get it done."

"If she was an animal, she'd be one of those scraggly cats you find on a street. Nice if you win its trust, but feisty if you don't." Phoenix smiled faintly at the thought.
