"We'll be in touch, in case you reconsider..."

"Uh..." Pixie cast a glance over at her twin, who kept her gaze averted. Phoenix was giving her privacy, she realised, as much as she could afford here. "What- what would it involve? Joining you."

"Lifting the veil on their moronic ways, and exposing the Strayers for what they truly are... tyrants, no worse the the criminals they hunt..."

Pulling her staff from the ground, Pixie made her way over to the stranger so she could lower her voice and speak without the fear of being overheard. "And if I do want to contact you? Do I, what, send an owl? Call Lassie the dog to come an' get ya?"

"Send an owl addressed to H. My owl will find it." He whispered back, a bit amazed at how willing she was to join him.

Pixie was surprised herself, to be honest. If anything, she'd expected Phoenix to be interested, given her reluctance to even consider herself part of the Strayer family - but, then again, Phoenix didn't like violence, especially if it ended in death. Ironic, really.

"Sure thing, H. I guess I'll talk to you later, then."

"We certainly will..." with that the death eater flew into the air as black smoke as Artisan rushed over, "What did you say to the guy?"

"Just somethin' to try and keep him off our backs," Pixie said. It wasn't entirely a lie, she supposed. "Might'a given him the wrong idea about me bein' interested in whatever it is he's up to. Might come in handy if we need a spy, right?"

"Yeah I guess that's true... but how the hell did that guy know so much about me and how was he so fast?"

"I'll put it on my list of questions if I talk to him again."

Phoenix joined them, appearing more worried than ever. "We need to talk to Crest as soon as we can. And does the whole thing apply to Karen, as well? Technically, she isn't a Strayer now either, but she was raised as one."

"Probably, he wanted 'pure' strayers and she fits the bill..."

"He better watch his back then, I can practically feel the angry wolf comin' off Phoenix from here." Pixie grinned at her sister's vaguely annoyed look, then became serious again. "We gotta let everyone know. Has he killed anyone yet?"

"H? Not that we've seen, but recently our operations have been continually thwarted, like they knew our moves before we did them. I wonder if H is the cause."

"It wouldn't surprise me. He seems to know what he's doing. I wonder if he's already got someone on the inside...?" Phoenix trailed off, narrowing her eyes in thought.

"We'll have to investigate into that..."

"Yeah. No rest for the wicked," Phoenix sighed with a wry smile. Pixie merely chuckled, mulling over the idea of it.

"Well... all ominous threats aside it was nice seeing you..."

"Yeah..." Phoenix put her arm around Artisan's shoulders in a one-armed hug. "Stay safe, won't you?"

"Yeah, don't go gettin' yourself killed."

"Damn straight I won't! Deaths too pathetic for me..." He hugged them back, giving them a nockie.

Both wriggled out of it, Pixie clonking him on the head with her staff this time. "Or d'you mean you're too pathetic for death?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" He ask while chuckling.

"You know what it means," Pixie chortled. "Dumbass. Now c'mon, we'd better go tell the rest o' you jokers what's happening."

"Well the first guy to tell is the furthest thing from a joker..."

He spoke into his pin, "Crest Strayer come on down, you're our next contestant..."

Crest arrived not even a second later.

"Seriously, he's like that insurance guy from the muggle television." He starts mocking the commercial, "Like a good auror, Crest is there! POP!"

Both snorted, but Phoenix sobered up quickly. "Crest, we have some bad news," she told him. "There's someone who guys by the name of H after Strayers. Only those with 'pure' blood though, apparently."

Crest took in the information thinking a second, "He wore a mask with no mouth." He stated it as a fact as he knew it was right.
