The Owlery

He simply nodded, sighing to himself. 'Know anyone who goes through random blackouts?'

'People who are being possessed?'

'So Amaya could be possessed... Not the nicest idea.'

'Thats only one throy. I mean, she could be ill....or her mind could be trying to block something out. but magically speaking, Possessed is the most likely'

Bryn nodded again, a frown crossing his face. 'I'm so worried about her. She hasn't really been talking to many people since it's been happening, and she gets so violent and doesn't realise..' He murmured, crinkling his brow in frustration.

'But this is amaya....when she wants the help, bryn, she will come to you'

'Then you would know she's stubborn, she wouldn't. Even when she's desperate she hides it from everyone..'

Krystal shrugs. 'I dont know what else to say then.'

He runs a hand through his hair, sighing. 'Its fine, I'll think of something.' With that, he turned on his heel to leave.

I almost ran to the owlery after speaking to Dumbledore, my head down so no one could see the tears sparkling in my eyes.

The letter i inked was messy, the ink blurred in spaces where i couldnt help the tears from falling.

Artemis.
I need you. I need your help, and i know I do not deserve it, and i am sure you expect this to be some sort of trap, but its not.
Dumbledores said goodbye. hes gone...
Something is happening, Artemis, and i am scared.

Soon, Artemis arrived to the tower but he was not alone. Crest and Artisan were also part of the entourage, by Crest's insistence that Artemis not be alone for this meeting. As head strayer, Crest's solemn duty was to protect his brother and he aimed to do precisely that.

"River," Artemis nodded in greeting that wasn't bereft of sincerity but lacked in warminess.

I wasnt suprised to see his bodyguards, but it hurt me more than i could imagine, the visible proof that i was not trusted.
'Somethings happening.' I say, not bothering to say hello 'Something that could kill, hurt...so many people, artemis. On both sides. Theres a war coming, and Dumbledores...' I shake my head, rubbing my eyes. 'Im so sorry.' I whisper. 'So...so sorry.'

Where have you been lady? This war has been brewing for a long time!' Artisan thought to himself but he didn't speak, letting Artemis say his piece.

'And now you choose to come to us? Convenient.' Crest held little more than spite for the girl who constantly switched sides on the drop of a hat. The final straw for him was when she allowed his brother to be harmed. He held no sympathy for her in the slightest.

"Slow down River, tell me what has happened." Artemis stood patient and resolute, taking every syllable seriously.

'I...' I shake my head. 'It would be easier to show you. you know...so you can see the whole conversation...' I didnt think i could explain it all- and letting him- or any of them into my head showed the trust i had in them

Artemis started to draw his wand, but Crest put his hand in front of him. "Let me do it." In case it was some kind of trick, Crest held better mental defenses than the both of his brothers put together.

I look crest in the eye 'I wouldnt hurt him. but i know that you wouldnt believe my word. none of you would. Ive made too many mistakes. just...' I sigh. 'Look? please?'

"You're right. I don't believe your word, never will either." Once Crest's trust was lost, you'd have a better chance teaching pigs to fly than getting it back. 

He pointed his wand at her forehead and used legilimens to peer inside.

The conversation played out, and I wait, only putting out of the spell after the memory of me walks out of his office. 
I sit down, rubbing my forehead, shuddering slightly. torture, i could take, but the one spell i truely hated was the one he had to use.

"She speaks truth." Crest concluded after he severed the connection, "Dumbledore seemed to be hinting at a certain finality. Perhaps death or dissertation..."

'He would never leave us if he had a choice. Which means...hes going to die. And theres nothing i...nothing anyone can do.'

Such news was very troubling. Dumbledore was one of the few stable things in the world that kept Voldemort from total domination of all things. If he knew he was soon to die...

"It... it can't be over. It just can't. We have to have a way!"

'Well apparently dumbledore expects miracles from me to stop anything happening before anything can be over.' I run my hands over my hair, thinking. 'He knows that I stand to loose more than other people here...because I will loose people from both sides. but i cannot stop you all from this. I cant do anything and I am going to have to stand there and watch while you all kill each other!'

"Then don't!" Artisan stepped forward this time. "God damn it, stop feeling sorry for yourself and actually do something about it!"

'What am i supist to do, Artemis? Ask my brother not to kill you all? We all know he would do it any way. Ask you to not kill them? Why? WHy would you do anything like that? Your life would be easier without any of the death eaters around.'

"We wouldn't kill them! It's against our principles."

"But consider this, we can offer him mercy that other aurors wouldn't be so privy to."
