OOC So where to with that?

IC I think, then look up at Crest, "He'll probably try and find Crouch..."

"I agree, lets look in the dungeons.."

"All right..."

I start to run there with Sam in hand

To the Dungeons!

I walk out to the grounds. The clouds are dark, and the breeze is strong. I smile, heading in no particular direction.

OOC Currently Arty is amnesic, do you want him like that or normal Arty?

I've never met you. Your choice.

OOC I'll do normal, so this meeting takes place prior to the events that make him amnesic

I was heading down to the grounds to do my routine exercises. Even if my old family code didn't exist any longer, it still taught how to keep one's body in pristine condition very effectively. Necessary for the physical demands that lie ahead in auror work.

I scowl. There's some boy heading this way. Just when I thought I'd escaped the inane concerns of these...children. I step directly into his path, violet eyes cold.

"Excuse me..." I try to move past her.

I ignore his words. "What are you doing out here?"

"Just out to exercise, who are you?" I address the exceedingly hostile girl.

ooc: YES. Exceedingly hostile!

ic: I ignore his question. If he doesn't recognize me, he must not be in the upper years. Or he's oblivious. "Who exercises in this weather?"
I gesture at the sky, the rainclouds beginning to coalesce into a black thunderhead.

"Men who can handle the storm."

"You seem familiar, have I fought with you in the past?"

'Mildly arrogant', I think. I give him a once-over and decide to actually answer his question. Just this once.
"No, I don't think we have...although you don't seem particularly memorable. You're not a pure-blood, are you?"

"Actually I am, but I don't count people by their heritage."

"Seeing as you do and your overall demeanor, I'm going to guess your a Death Eater, correct?"

I smirk.
"Making assumptions already? I don't believe that's any of your business, wandering boy."

"Your pride in that response removes all doubt, which actually very much makes it my business." I start moving my hand to my wand.

I see the movement and can't repress the smile that comes to my lips.
"Challenging a seventh-year Slytherin, boy? Is that really a wise decision?"

"Then we're on even-footing." I show my Slytherin emblem on my robe.

I don't bother to look. Even footing? Who does this kid think he is? I stay where I am for the moment, noting the boulders and trees nearest me, but not drawing my wand. I take a deep breath, the storm's electricity swirling just above us.
"A Slytherin - pure blood, nonetheless - who doesn't set store by blood purity? Who challenges those who respect the Dark Lord? You're not fit to wear that emblem, let alone call yourself a member of my House."

"Believe me, I'm ashamed to be in Slytherin. This is not an emblem I done proudly by ANY standard."

I study the weather, as well as the surrounding environment. Being trained trained to be an auror all my life, I know that the area provides a great deal of factors in a fight.

I glare at him, my violet eyes blazing with hatred.
"How dare you defile this House, you insolent rat!"
I step closer, knowing he will have to back up in order to point his wand at me. "You will NEVER defeat us, boy."

Instead I push her back, "Don't think I'm so easily pushed around.
