He arrived late and he snuck in the back, hoping no one would notice his lateness. He slipped into a seat in the back and watched Topher and Potion's wedding proceed.

OOC Thank you Crouch! You're a breath of fresh air in this corrupted world.

ic Meredia was the maid of honour, smiling brightly as she heard the vows being exchanged, donning a simple dress which complimented the Bride's.

Amaya tapped her fingers on her knees, sat on the Bride's side of the asile with her brother, watching with a stoic expression. It was impossible to tell whether Amaya was happy or sad, her face was simply neutral. In comparison, Bryn was beaming brightly, clearly proud.

She smiled widely at Topher, her eyes filled with love.

O o c You're totally right, Crouch.

"I now pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride."

Topher: I lift her veil up as all my friends in attendance watch happily. Even Artisan couldn't help but fight back a tear or two. Crest was smirking and everyone else was perfectly excited.

Joachim: I watch from next to Amaya and whisper to her, "Game over, Top..."

She kissed him back happily, glad that everything ended well.

I kiss her back, much to the applause of the entire gathering. A few of the nobles didn't seem to approve or disapprove. But it didn't matter to me.

Martin Kol... no. Martin NOIR was with me forever more.

For her all of this was a dream... something she was dreaming about for a long time was coming true. She just couldn't believe that she was his wife now... that she was married to the most important person in her life.
Potion gently pulled away and then smiled happily to the audience.

I lead Potion down the aisle, waving excitedly to everyone in the room.

A little later, there's a reception party set up in the Noir's backyard, on par in size with a park in any city. tents were set up to offer shelter from the sun and only the best of foods was set out of tables. Not a single expense was spared, Agatha Noir had insisted.

Artemis: "Congratulations Topher, Potion!!"

She smiled happily at Artemis.-Thank you so much.-

"You're welcome! Oh I brought you a present."

When they'd kissed, she'd averted her gaze, mainly because she had the emotional maturity of a five year old when it came to cheesy moments. Part of her stomach twisted but she remained composed.

'Did you just say game over?' Amaya snorted quietly back to Joachim. 'Sounds about right, but there's an escape clause to this game.'

He was really happy for the couple. He clapped and couldn't wipe the smile off his face.

She smiled.-Oh you didn't have to.-

Artemis: "Of course I did, you're both my best friends!"

Joachim: "That's not what I meant..."

The girl shrugged with indifference, eyes scanning the crowd for one of her family members. 'What did you mean then?' her disinterest was thinly veiled.

"His carefree days... they're officially dead! I can't get him hammered no more! I gotta be the full life of the party instead of half of it!"

'Being married doesn't mean you stop getting drunk, you just stop running off with a random girl or guy..' she refrained from rolling her eyes, injecting optimism back into her tone.

'Besides, you always got me or Axel.'

She smiled.-Then thank you very much.-

"It's a bit of a joke gift but..."

I hand them two vials with their names on it.

She smiled ant took hers.-Well, it's very interesting.-

"It's whenever you mix two ingredients together in those bottles, they'll realize their maximum potential. Kind of like how you and Topher bring out the best of each other."

She smiled happily.-Oh my, that's wonderful! Thank you so much, Artemis.-

"Anytime!" Just let me know if you guys ever need a hand with anything!"

She smiled.-We will. And thank you again, you're way too kind.-

Artemis: "Of course! Congratulations again!" I walk off to give the other guest their chance to address the newly weds.

Joachim: Looking as awkward as an oxen trying to fit in a tux, but ironically lacking the article of attire, I approach the pair. Only the blind could overlook the unsettle in my entire stance. It was like fighting back an intense flame in my veins. Being at the epicenter of fortune and fame was dangling an impossible carrot in front of me, but I resist to preserve my weakened friendship with Topher.
