So, my fifth time and I still haven't gotten it. I wonder how many times I'd try reaching for the container of apples until it toppled onto my and I raised a bunch of noise and got caught. I couldn't help it, I was homeless! And I wasn't about to starve.
Oh wait, what am I doing? I almost forgot about the single talent that's allowed me to get away with so much. I concentrate and disappear in a flash of blue light, reappering next to a jack pot of food.
"Score!" I exclaim silently

Walking through town, Joachim made his way through until someone appeared in front of him, "Whoa holy shit!!"

I nearly get knocked to the ground, dropping a few apples. "Hey watch it!" I say pained as I get up, gathering my fallen food.

"ME? You almost knocked into me ya damn idiot!"

"Well EXSCUSE ME, teleporting isn't exactly easy in the middle of the night!" I immediately snap my mouth shut, realizing what I just said.

"Ya can teleport huh? Show me!"

I try to shake it off
"I was joking, duh, nobody can teleport!" Clearly I was lying but if I can lie and protect myself that was WAY better.

"Dude, hey, I'm a conman alright? I know when someone is trying to screw with me!:"

"I'm not trying to screw with you! I'm serious!" Seriously, if this guy didn't stop I'd...do something involving my teleporting.

"Look, I don't give a damn either way..."

I sighed in relief. Thank GOD, the last thing I needed were more people after me. I stepped forward to walk past him but my foot caught the sidewalk and the basket of apples flung out of my hands
Oh crap...um...I zapped in blue light forward to catch the basket and sighed when I caught it.

"I've already got enough people pissed at me, I don't need more enemies, ya know..."

"That's pretty handy though..."

I sigh and just pick up my apples.
"Yeah ok, so I lied, big deal. And what do you mean by handy? I just use it to steal food..."

"Exactly why! But why settle at food man, you could be playin' in the big leagues with those talents..."

I take an apple and eat it.
"Um...big leagues?"

"Oh you know, big time heist, like for moolah and stuff... knockin' over rich folks? None of that rignin' a bell?"

"Well it sorta does but, I thought my power was useless for that kinda stuff."

"You kiddin' man? God, ya just like Top when I first met 'im." His accent was a standard new york one, but with the speed of a slippery used car salesmen.

"Um...Top'?" If he was talking about someone, that was a weird name for a guy. "And no, I just, really WHAT kind of use does teleporting get you?"

"Here, I'll show ya, kid, follow me!"

Um...stranger danger much? But hey, what have I got to lose? I've lost enough already. I trot after him, still eating the apple
