Early Years

Ooc huh.

Crouch, or as he was known then, Barty sat at the Slytherin table repairing the books that his regular bullies had damaged. However with repetition came ease for doing this but even so... it was starting to get under his skin...

Sapphire slunk down onto the bench next to Barty with sleep deprived eyes, but never the less an impish grin playing around her lips until she noticed him repairing his books yet again causing her smile to fade "seriously? If you're not going to hex those guys for messing with you I am.. this is getting beyond ridiculous."

"Oh it's fine really... it's simple work. Keeps me mind busy..."

OOC Nowadays Crouch:

Teacher: Where are those studies who ruined your books?
Crouch: -Crazy Grin- "Oh they're over there... and there... and there... and there... and some even way over there..."

Ic her chin rested on his shoulder as she sighed slightly and wrapped her arms around him "but they're such jerks for always doing this.. you've really got to start standing up for yourself, babe"

"I just don't want to make waves is all..." He held onto her, "But enough about that. You look tired..."

She nodded " I might have been up all night switching around some of  Snape's  hair potions..." as she spoke Snape had slipped into a seat at the teachers table. His hood drawn, but obvious neon pink locks cascaded beneath it.

He laughed heartedly, not like the insane laughs that would haunt the hallways in future years but a good natured laugh. "Saph you're a comedic genius!"

Ooc the image of Snape with hot pink hair is just too great xD 

Ic she smiled impishly "that'll teach him to give me low marks again... just because I corrected him.. again." she shook her head a little in mild annoyance " so what are we doing today?  " she gazed at him with her usual curious expression.

"Well, I'm not too sure to be honest." He put the finishing touch on his book and set it on the table. "Have any ideas? You know you're usually the more fun one..."

"Welll it is a pretty day.. and there probably aren't too many students lingering around Hogsmead. Wanna go?"

"Yeah that sounds like fun!"

"and for the record i think your ideas are always fun." She smiled brightly taking his hand and placing a small kiss on his cheek before leading him from the great hall to the grounds towards Hogsmead.

As they went out toward Hogsmeade, one boy threw a snowball at Crouch's head, "HEY FREAK!!" 

Crouch held his face, as he was certain there was ice in that snowball with the throbbing pain on his face.

Concern and anger flooded her face, the end of her hair which had been a calm blue flared acid green. Wand sliding to her hand with out hesitation,  but her first priority was making sure Barty was ok as she placed her hand over his to pull it away and peer at his face " are you alright??" She remained calm although keeping the culprit in her peripheral sights.

"I'm fine..." He took out his wand and levitated the ice in the ball and aimed it back at him, "He's not..." He shot it forward with excessive force, knocking him to the ground writhing in pain. 

A ghost of a smile played on Crouch's face as he heard the yell of agony.

She flinched a little at the sound of the other boys agony, but a small smug smirk crossed her lips "It's nice to see you sticking up for yourself... just don't take it too far.."

"Oh I think he got the message..." He pocketed his wand, returning to her side, "Shall we then.."

She looped her arm through his giving a glance back to the other student. "yeah.... fancy a butterbeer?" she glanced towards the Hog's Head "or maybe something stronger?"

"Butterbeer will do..."

She smiled and tugged towards the Three Broomsticks, ordering them each a butterbeer before heading towards a more secluded table towards the back of the pub.

After a few silent moments passed, Crouch finally asked the question on his mind, "Is it wrong do you think?"

she looked at him quizzically "is what wrong?"
