Early Years

"Ummm... let's not get wrapped up in details shall we?" I wrap an arm around her.

She smiled playfully slipping out from his arm to face him walking backwards with sure footsteps she knew this area all too well. "but the details are the best parts.. least I think so."

"I'm a bit more of a 'cut-to-the-chase' kind of guy.." I smirk and gesture toward a window, "Literally..."

She smirked hoping onto the window ledge and pushing a small pane that had been loose to the side before slipping her hand in to flip the latch before sliding the window open she turned to him "see details.." and with that she disappeared into the darkness of the building.

Man did I pick the right country to go to!

I jump in after her, shutting it behind me just in case.

Her eyes luckily were already adjusted to the darkness as he did making sure to step out of the way " so what did you take to have the authorities after you?" she walked around the room her hand trailing along the wall.

"Just a usual haul for me... jewels, trinkets, anything else worth the effort..."

"ever go for something more extravagant?" she looked at him curiously.

"Depends on who's paying me to fetch what."

"So you play for profit.. quite interesting.. where as I steal because I want something.."

"OHHH! That's what you mean! In that case yeah!"

She smirked "just interested to know how you work.. every thief is a little different."

"How do YA work?"

She smirked stepping close to him "like I said I take what I want.. either for myself or what I know will fetch a good price to the right buyers."

I approach her as well, "You know, maybe we oughta run a job together..."

She grinned taking a step back now that she had him close "you didn't notice? we already are on one" it was all she said before seeming to vanish through the door way just off to the side of her.

She crept quietly down the hall smirking playfully when she glanced back seeing he had followed. Stopping at a heavy dark door and pulling a pin from her hair that seemed to glide into the lock perfectly making it click quietly as the door swung open.

"So what are we lookin' at here?" I whisper to her.

"not too sure really.. I know it's small. made of ivory and easily concealed.. worth quite a lot of money." she was already beginning to scope out the room taking care to be as quiet as possible.

"Business or pleasure?" Hopefully you aren't trying to worm your way out of a debt like me...

She smirked "nothing but pleasure here.. I like rare items mostly.. and the more difficult the steal the more entertained I am." her voice was a soft whisper as she did an interesting swirl of her wand causing her self to levitate able to see on top of the high shelved.

"Seems we got a lot in common..."

"And you're good at magic. Must be a good way to get outta dates.." I tease.

She shrugged a little as she shifted things only as much as she needed to before straightening them back as they were " I don't really do the whole dating thing really.. always felt it slowed down my pace of life."

"You are SO right! Besides, why not just cut to the good part right?"
