I turn around and catch Crest quick
"Crest will you listen to me?! I can't...let go of certain things okay? I could rip you apart before you could blink! I just..."
I look down and pick up a flower, which freezes in my hand
"Death, all I bring to the world is death. Not a lot of people like winter anyways."

"I know you CAN do that. I also know you won't."

I look up at him
"Here's my question, how can you believe that about me when you don't know that much about me?"

"Because Sam trust you and I trust her. So, stop trying to give me reasons to doubt you. I doubt enough people, I don't need another one."

I get up and sign deeply, knowing forcing doubt was a major flaw of mine
"I'm sorry for bringing all of this up."

"Trust mr, if I doubted you, this conversation would not be taking place."

Things were getting progressively out of hand. First Leon and now those two men...

There was a time when I was held as the single greatest power in the school. And now I was getting defeated by others.

I must seek new heights, more power to never be defeated again.

Just how to do it was the question.

He arrived at the home, taking it in with a breath if relief. He opened the doors and stepped inside with Amy.

"This must be strange to you but I assure you there's a reason."

She watched him closely for a moment " actually it didn't seem to strange until you said that... so what's going on"

"recently, I was attacked... and..." The sheer disgust in what transpired still riled him to this day, "They weakened me..."

She looked at him confused "how could they have weakened you?..tell me what happened."

"It began a few days ago.."

"I was informed that two individuals had a conspiracy to do exactly this to me. I thought I'd preemptively strike them and cripple the threat."

"However, while I nearly killed one of the conspirators, the other one caught me off guard and forced a potion into my body. My body feels... lighter somehow, as if a lot of weight inside me was lost."

"I'm going to coup up here until I know the extent of the damage."

She was quiet for a moment taking in what he said fury apparent in her eyes " I should have been there.... I should have been watching your back and this would have never happened."

"I will get back at them, both of them."

"I'll tear out their enthralls and make a hat out of them!"

She couldn't help but smile a little "that would definitely be an interesting hat...so who was it?"

"One was a boy named Eugene, the other was named Lewis. Both of them out-strategized me.." He admitted shamefully, fearing his master's wraith over his lose.

She caressed his cheek lightly " don't worry love it happens even to the best of us at times... we'll get you back to normal and they will be dead soon enough."

"Soon may be too late for me..." 

"In any case, I must figure out what I still have for power. Just the other day, I noticed my werewolf sense of smell to have just vanished." Despite it being a small symptom, he worried for what other degradation he suffered.

"We'll figure this out love...we always do."

"Your cousin Death is overseeing Hogwarts in the mean time, should my abilities have truly gotten weaker... I'll need to alter my dueling style drastically.."

"I'm just glad you and Alexis are safe..."

"At least we know Hogwarts is in capable hands..as for your dueling style love I've never seen anyone else with the natural talent you have or the drive to over come any obstacle in your path. Very thin is goin to be fine."

"I can always count on you sweetie..." He kissed her cheek.

Ic she smiled brightly "yes you can, love.. I'm just so sorry I wasn't there to prevent this from happening at all."

"It's alright, I know you would've had you been there..." He walked upstairs and opened the door to Alexis's room, checking in on here.

She followed him resting her head on his shoulder watching their girl "you know it's comforting to know no matter what happens we'll always have her."
