"Yes, he does have quite an unhealthy obsession with me... It seems to be getting in the way of the relationship with his wife."

"Getting in the way of..." He repeats and then stops. All the lightbulbs in the world go on at once as it all suddenly comes together. Why Liria did it all.

It was brilliant, so brilliant that Artemis had to let out a happy bout of laughter.

Raven raises a brow, "What's so funny?"

"You don't get it at all do you? Why Liria did it." Artemis laughter over the realization continued.

Suddenly, the light bulbs flickered in Raven's mind as well.  "I can't believe you're laughing at this.  She was using me to HURT your BROTHER.  And because of it, he got tortured more than she meant it..."

"No no. She was trying to help him. She was trying to show him what his obsession looked like to make him pay more attention to Sam..." 

"Granted, the end result was not how she planned. But her aims were amiable."

"But it still goes to show how close she is to Crouch..." So much Crouch blindly gave me a love potion...

"I'm well aware of it.."

"I'm actually quite surprised it's not visibly bothering you..."

"It did at first, but I trust her."

"Well, that's good news for her, then..."

"I know my words are probably going to be wasted here, but you should try to find someone you can put that much trust in. Someone who can depend on you and more importantly you can depend on them."

"And that was Crouch for me." Was... I don't know if I can trust him if he trusts Liria...

"Well, I hope you find someone honestly trustworthy..."

"Try Topher, he's a rock."

Topher... Raven stays silent, thinking about Topher.  She does count him as one of her friends, even though she doesn't want Crouch to acknowledge it.  But still... If he's friends with Liria STRAYER, how could it be so bad to be friends with Topher?

"Please, try to clean up your life. For your own sake..." He started to walk off.

Raven rolls her eyes, looking back at the ground, amazed he didn't arrest her.

An owl flutters down next to Ray carrying a letter.-

Raven raises a brow, taking the letter and opening it.

The letter reads-

Dear Raven,

As my wonderful husband figured out and told you I gave you the potion so that I could teach Crest a lesson. However there was more to it then that. I was hoping he would leave you alone after that and quit bugging you. Why you may ask? I owed Junior. He did me a favor. I owed him one. Unfortunatly before I explain any of this to anyone things went ahead without my knowlege. So my fault I know. But if things had gone the way I originally intended we wouldn't have this mess.

Raven reads the letter over and over again, trying to think.  She doubts Crest would ever leave her alone, but she supposes it was a decent plan.  Raven decides to write her back.

I suppose I understand why you did what you did given your and Artemis's explanation.  However, I am still unhappy with looking like a complete idiot and Crouch blindly giving  me a love potion.  I'm not going back to him until he apologizes.  Thanks for the explanation.

Raven sends the letter off, thinking about it.  She also wants Crouch to come to her to test if he really does care for her help and company.

The dainty girl had her white hair shrouded by her hood, trying to blend in with usual muggle attire as she approached Raven. Although she'd found the girl in an empty park, it had taken her a couple of weeks to finally locate the ex-servant. Donia was not here for business - or for assassination - this was one of Donia's rare, personal ventures into the lives of the other Death Eaters.

'Hi.' She called out almost reluctantly, not usually the type to show her presence immediately. However, she still had one hand in her pocket, ready to react in an instant.

Raven looks at Donia, raising a brow.  "Hi..."
