Grand Staircase

She shrugs, "How should I know?  It wasn't my job to inform you."

"Have I lost rank? Am I nothing to the Death Eaters anymore, you guys couldn't inform me of a battle?"

OOC hint: good way to piss him off is to agree

"I guess so, if no one really informed you!" She laughs.

His eye twitched and he drew his wand. "How dare you say that about me, you bitch."

Raven gets her wand out as well, raising a brow, "Oh, so now you want to fight against a fellow Death Eater?"

OOC Sorry for the slow replies. I'm doing homework -.-

IC He chuckled. "No, I'm going to teach you a lesson. Never underestimate me." He braced himself for a fight and cast the first spell: a paralyzing spell.

OOC It's okay! No worries!  

IC Raven dodges.  "Who said I was underestimating you?"

"You said so yourself. I'm not important enough to be informed of anything, thus, you underestimated me. Now stand still!" He cast another spell at her, determined to hit.

Raven deflects it.  "I just said 'I guess so'.  I don't know you like other Death Eaters do."  She throws her own curse at him.

He deflected it with a flick of his wrist. "How have you not heard of me?" he wondered aloud.

"I've heard of you.  I just don't know you as well as others."

"Well that helps your case just a bit." He threw another lazy curse at her. "Just a bit. You still don't know me. I'll give you a reason to remember me."

Raven dodges the best that she can, sending her own curses back at him.  "Is that supposed to scare me?  Because that's not working."

"How about this? Crucio!"

Raven gets hit by it, but through the pain, she smirks.  "I've been through... Much worse..."  She manages to throw another curse at him.

"Oh I'm sure," he muttered. He dodged her attack barely and put his wand away. "Okay, I'm done. I'm going to go find Crouch now. Have you any idea where he is?"

That's it? You're walking away? You disappoint me.

"I do not.  We all came and split up."

"Okay." He turned on his heel and walked away from the girl in search of his brother.

Infuriated that his battle got interrupted, everything that moved on his way during his aimless wandering became a victim of his. But each foe that fell left Crouch more and more unsatisfied. He needed a foe that could truly push his potential, a true enemy that could force him to dig deep into the reservoirs of power he so relished and let him unleash it like a explosive volcano.

Jack had been running down the stairs, having heard his daughter and Crest's battle.  Then he runs into Crouch and glares.  "You..."

"Ahh Jackie boy! Pleasure to see you again," He cackled madly, "Actually I was just in the middle of going up to set the hospital wing on fire. Can't have those dying or dead people getting better now can we?"

Jack glares, his hand immediately on Crouch's throat, squeezing.  "I won't let you get up there... In fact, I'm going to kill you! Rid this world of you!"  An insane grin comes on Jack's face.

He however wasn't afraid as he laughed but it sounded more like a forced cough with the air leaving his lungs, 'Right!"

He points his wand straight at Jack's chest, "Legillimens!"

Jack couldn't block in time, and the spell hits him, revealing his memories.  He immediately works hard to close his mind and kick Crouch out.

"Oho, seems I got a fighter here... give in!!" He strengthened the connection as best as he could.
