That narrows it down a lot. Donia had a few ideas, but she wasn't going to ask for confirmation. The only reason he'd be treated badly in Gryffindor would be if his family were sided with Voldemort.

Or if he was a Death Eater. She remained entirely calm, not looking at him either. 'I'm sure they'd be quite accepting of whatever it is, they're your housemates after all...'

'Are you uncomfortable?' was her next question.

She pretended not to notice, still trying to catch his gaze. 'You seem awfully fidgety, we could get out of here if you want.' Donia was also wary of the Slytherin girls still staring at her.
