Potions class is located in the dungeons and taught by Professor Severus Snape. Also the head of Slytherin House, many can see that Snape does favour his Slytherins over the other houses.
Ebony walked into class, dropping herself into a chair as Severus Snape wrote on the board, back turned to the class. "Nott, I would point out that class started a minute ago," Snape said coldly, without turning around. "5 points from Gryffindor for your tardiness."
Ebony scowled at the back of Snape, wishing he'd just turn into a mouse while she unloaded her potions books.
