'Knock me out, now Lucius.' Donia ordered, keeping her voice low and harsh. It was an order, it needed to be done.

Voldemort saw the hesitation in the boy, summoning his power to break free of the strange shadow silhouette. 'What did I tell you, not strong enough... Crucio!' he repeated, putting more force into it.

Lucius: "Don't order your betters!" With my pride defended, I hit her on the head with the midsection of my cane with all the might I could conjure.

Artemis: That was my last assault. The only move I could do. I only made him move. That was all I could do.

I've never felt so helpless in my life. But I will not go down without a struggle. Despite every single tendon and nerve in my body screaming in agony, my sense of honor alone keeps me from making a sound, despite how it made my teeth grind and I take a stand.

'Artemis!' her screech alone was enough to chill anyone to the core. It was laden with desperation, even Donia didn't know if she'd make it out alive. All she felt was a sharp blow to her head, before the girl was spiraled into darkness.

'hear that Strayer? your little buddy is about to be killed, and you'll be following her footsteps.' Voldemort's cold laugh echoed around the room again, taunting Artemis. He raised his wand for what he thought was the last time on the wretch in front of him. 'Avada..'

Appears quite literally out of nowhere and grabs Artemis hand and yanks on him pulling him out of the way her face was white.-

He couldn't take Hogwarts anymore, so he came here. He was hoping that Crouch was here as well. He wanted to talk to him, about his engagement. It didn't feel right to be marrying River without Crouch's approval.

Their library was well stocked with priceless books. Many on the dark arts and old glyphs used by Dark wizards and witches to hide the meaning of their written work were here.

The later of which was proving most handy. It cost me an arm and a leg to get these tomes but the content I had translated thus far was making it well worth the price.

After searching the mansion he finally located Crouch in the library. "Knock knock, can I come in?"

I look up from my translating, ready to berate the fool who interrupted ...

Oh it's Death, "Yes please come in."

He came into the room, taking notice of all the books. He had never realized that there was so many Dark Arts books here, he'd have to check them out next time he had a question.

"Right, I came here to talk to you about something Crouch. Man to man."

"Im going to take a stab at it, River yes?"

"Yes." He nodded. "It doesn't feel right to be marrying her without your permission. I know she talked to you, but I would like to talk to you as well."

I cast a muffliato around us.

Talking about marrying a blood traitor in the middle of a DE hideout? Swim in a pool with newly lost arm while you're at it.

"Very well... speak your mind."

He sighed. "Look, I don't give a flying fuck if they hear about my engagement to her. However, I do appreciate the effort."

He walked closer to Crouch and leaned against the table that was covered in books. "As you probably know, I love your sister. I wouldn't let anything harm her. Ever. I want to be with her, I want her happiness." He paused. "I want your approval."

I laugh insanely, but it seemed more joyous than intimidating, "I find it funny you even had to ask. You're a good man Death, of noble blood and skill. I know you make her happy."

"So by all means, you have my consent."

He let out a breath of relief. Although he had nothing to really worry about, he still wanted Crouch's approval. "Good. Is there anything you wish to tell me? I know you're not the type to get sentimental, but this is your sister we're talking about. I know you still love her."

Yes, if you do a single thing to make her either unhappy or hurt or worse, I will chop off your legs while you're asleep, set your house on fire and watch you crawl out on your bloody stumps.

"No, nothing I can think of at the moment."

IC He smiled. "Okay. So how's the plan to take back Hogwarts coming along? I haven't heard anything from you in a while."

"It's coming along. Once I've translated these tomes I have reason to believe our victory is assured."

"What language are they in?" He looked over at the book that Crouch was studying before he walked in.
