Entrance Hall

"Hmm. There's the brother I know and love. So painful and slow," she smiled. "Got it. Also, how's Amy and Alexis? I can't even remember the last time I saw them..."

I smile brightly, "They're quite well. Alexis is growing up wonderfully, a couple of rivals have tried to use her as a weakness against me... they learnt the error of their ways, I assure you."

Walnut chuckled darkly. "Alexis attacked them or made them regret their actions, I'm sure?" Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Crouch... what about Amy?"

"She's here as well, a bit more reclusive now to my deepest regrets but she's here thankfully. You can find her in the Death Eater most of the time."

The boy had his head rested gently against the archways of the Entrance Hall, glad for the momentary minutes of silence that stretched out. Oddly enough, there hadn't been any questions, but he wouldn't complain.

He took his time approaching the kid, sharp honey coloured eyes raking down the boy's body before pausing.

'I haven't seen you around before.' he stated bluntly.

'I could say the same for you.' his tone was almost as short, watching Lukas with interest. 'Who are you then?'

'Lukas Moroskov, official supporter of the fence-sitters and the people who simply couldn't give a damn what happens here. And yourself?' His manner was charming, but it was clearly laden with malice and mischief too.

ic 'Rook.' Although he had a last name, he hardly ever used it. 'I'm on the neutral side, mainly so i can go about doing what i want without hassle, we have something in common.' he noted, tension drooping from his shoulders.

ic 'We have a LOT in common.' he corrected, grin stretching and become more playful by the minute. Lukas took only a moment to think, any people on his side was better than nobody.

'You say you're on the neutral side? What is your opinion on Chaos?' it was his only question.

ic Rook hesitated this time, choosing his words carefully. 'Not the best thing in the world, but if it happens i stay out of it.'

His nose crinkled at Rook's response, but didn't make a big deal out of it. 'Would you like protection? This offer comes with no strings attached. We can be allies to an extent.'

'That depends. What do I have to do in return? I know you said no favours but i doubt this comes free.' he found it unusual that they were both being evasive with their answers.

'Nothing at all. This is an offer of friendship, honestly.' he persisted, laughing to himself. 'People are so paranoid..'

'You could've said that in the first place.' he also chuckled in response, shaking his head.

'But sure, we can be friends. Can I ask you a question?' Rook's eyes were curious as per usual, sincere.

'Of course..'

'Why do you smell so...bizzarre?' he inquired, pulling a tiny step closer, nostrils flaring.

ic 'Excuse me?' Startled, Lukas put some distance between them, honey coloured eyes blazing with flickers of surprise. In all his time being here, Nobody had ever asked him that..

Rook tried to backtrack, straightening, shutting his eyes. 'I-I-mean... You're not human, am i right?' Before Lukas could respond, he added a withering look on the end. 'And don't try to deny it, i've seen supes before.'

'You are correct.' Lukas bowed carefully, gaze never leaving Rook's. 'I'm a fire Kitsune, here to sell contracts and encourage freedom.' Seriously, I am.

He drew in his breath sharply. 'Kitsune? wow you must be strong.' he examined the creature in front of him more closely, but not maliciously.

'I'm advantageous in most situations... yes.' he was growing slightly annoyed with all this interrogation, folding his arms over his chest. 'Tell me what you are, tit for tat?'

'I thought you said no deals and strings attached?' Rook raised one brow, a sly grin wiping his new found intrigue clean from his face.

'Just sharing information between friends?' Lukas asked, now burning with his own questions and desires to just know things.

'fine, i'll tell you.' he beckoned for Lukas to come closer, a child about to tell a precious secret to a trusted friend.
