'Much obliged.' he faced away from her, overlooking the grounds for a moment.

Silent words escaped his lips, closing his eyes in concentration. In an instant, the sound of paper ripping filled the air. Yet it still didn't cover the growl of pain that emnated from him.

She takes a step towards him, frowning. "What did you just do?"

'It's done, i have no control over you now.' he let the shreds of paper fall to the floor, ignoring the spasms of pain trying to overwhelm his body. it wasn't easy..

Pixie places her free hand on his forearm, worry lining her expression. "Are you ok? Lukas?"

He kept his teeth gritted, but forced his body to relax. 'I will be, it'll hurt for a while.' Lukas didn't explain how he had to do it, there were very few ways that a contract could be rendered void.
