'SOmething like....this isnt my case?'

"By all accounts it is.. I have documentation and eye witnesses. What do you have but your word?" He challenged after the fighting Joachim was carted off to Azkaban.

'I have my mind.' She took a step towards him. 'Trust me, Morrose. You do not want to annoy me. You will regret this.'

"I truly don't understand your annoyance with me. I was not part of this case."

'nor was I.'

"Yes Krystal you were. And if your hunch was correct, you'll be due for that promotion almost given to me prior to a certain snitch talking.. I believe we know the one." He looked at her pointedly.

'Ahh....' She laughed quietly. 'So thats what this is about. Let me tell you now....what ever you are doing, whatever you think you will achieve, this will not work.'

"I don't know what you're talking about..."

'Im sure you dont. Now...if were done here, Im going to go and find my friendship.'

"I will not hold you up then..."
"Congratulations again detective.."

She scowled, turning away and storming back down the corridor.

Another trial...

This one hardly even seemed worth the time of a jury, a conman who if his speech was any indication wasn't even smart enough to be a death eater being charged with being one?

Why were they wasting their time with this? 

Nonetheless Joachim was lead to the court room.

Krystals eyes flickered up to him as he was led in, but she clenched her fists and looked back at the floor.

Across the room, she could see Morroses smile, as people whispered, muttered around her.
But she tried to block it all out. She wanted to know why. what was this all about? what it was going to lead too.

But her mind was going too slow, she couldnt see past her anger at what this was all really about

The judge stepped into the room, "alright everyone let's get this over..."

not even he cares....she thought to herself, her eyes following him. if he didnt care, that means he didnt believe...

"Now then, Joachim with no given surname, you've been charged of conspiracy with Death Eaters, how do you plead?" The judge inquired.

"Not a Death Eater!" Joachim rose to make his claim while his lawyer grabbed his arm, "Let me do the talking!"

One of the jury, a small, round witch, raised an eyebrow at the conman. 'If he wants to talk for himself, i believe we should let him. It ihgt get this done quicker.'

After a brief whispered conference between lawyer and client, Joachim stood up, "Okay guys, mark of any death eater is the dark mark right?"

He rolled down his sleeves to show everyone bare for arms, "TA-DA! Spick-and-span! Can I leave now?"

'But what about the report about it?' Someone else from the jury. 'A whole report about you clearly being involved with them? A deak mark is not everything.'

"Well they can take that report and shove it up their..."

The lawyer interjecting before he could his reputation, "I"d like to draw everyone's attention to the fact that those reports were filled with spotty research and speculations, NOT facts!"

'So its not a fact that....' The man flicked through the report before looking up. 'He has often been seen around the death eaters- as well as one Barty Crouch Junior? Because surely that is proof, not specuation?'

"By who? Who saw him as you claim 'With Barty Crouch Junior'?"

'Well, the one that wrote the report. One....Krystal Seth.'


She flinched at her name, even though she knew it would happen, and clenched her fists more, feeling her nails digging into her skin

"Krystal Seth, can you please stand up here..."

She did so, holding up her hand before anyone else could talk. 'I. Did. Not. Write. This.'
