Ministry of Magic (British)

I look at the Ministry insignia below us and imagine every punch, kick, bruise, spell and pain I suffered because of them.

At last I fire off my strongest curse.

She watched him in slight awe the power from his spell blasting through the platform.

We fall through where the platform used to be back to the ground.

She landed lightly next to him "you know.. your power never ceases to amaze me."

I chuckle insanely, "There are times I'm still getting over it myself..."

She smiled at him sweetly wishing more than ever that he had memories.

"Would you say it's fair to reason all those platforms.." I gesture to the various other floating stones with confiscated goods on them, "have the same bubble on them?"

She paused for a moment looking at each " I would say more than likely..."

-Crazy Grin- "Perfect, that makes our job easier than."

"How so?"

"Well on the inside those bubbles held the properties of metal. But surely our arrogant friend wouldn't try to guard the outside as well as the inside?"

She smirked "there would be no need..I see what you're saying."

-Crazy Grin- "And thus... my point." I send my fiendfyre bat up towards the bubbles and it heats it to the point of liquefaction. Soon all around us showers melted steel but with it also comes all the contains. Rock is such a smooth surface, isn't it?

"Dark Lord, I love being right all the time."

She couldn't help herself as she kissed him quickly, but fiercely before pulling away "completely brilliant!"

I kiss her back, a reaction that shocks even me. "Thank you..."

She smirked a little and then looked at all the fallen objects "so let's see if this was completely a trap or if our prize is here after all."

"Alright!" I start rummaging though the items, very careful with whatever's here if it waranted this much security.

Amy began her own rummage as two sets of eyes were better than, looking carefully. She picked up a very mundane looking hand mirror looking into it only to find dark swirling contents reflecting back at her, but it felt as though it were drawing her in.. almost entrancing. She didn't notice the darkness literally reaching out toward her throat in the shape of a black shiny hand.

I turn around fast to notice the attack and run toward her, "Amy!!! Look out!!"

Startled she dropped the mirror watching as it shattered and sizzled oddly she stared at it for a moment and then looked at him "thanks for that... normally I'm not that oblivious." She looked slightly embarrassed for her thoughtlessness.

Just for safety I shoot a powerful blasting curse at it. "It's okay, it's been a weird week." I chuckle.

She sighed "don't I know it.." she ran her fingers through her hair.

"Wait... this is it!" I go over to what appears to be a fallen over mine cart.

She walked over to it with him "are you sure?"

"Looks like it for certain, look at all these artifacts of the dark arts." I pick up a small black stone and examine it. "I haven't seen half of this stuff before."
