She racked her brain for a moment thinking of the best way to prove that she was telling the truth and then her eyes fell on his hand. It was so simple starring her right in the face "Your ring! I gave it to you.. It's an old family heirloom and it perfectly matches mine..." she held her hand up to show him.

I look at hert matching rings with a expression of awe. Was... she really married to me? But then the thought crosses my mind, "That could easily be a fabrication."

There had to be something, anything to make him realize. "I know this is hard to grasp.. but we are married. We have a child.. " It pained her knowing he had forgotten all about Alexis as well. He had come so close to losing them before and now it was like he truly had.

"That is a lie. I have no child!" I yell at her, she was beginning to infuriate me. But something in her words made me want to keep listening.

She stood and took a deep breath keeping level headed , her crimson eyes met his "Yes you do. She's completely perfect.. half vampire, half werewolf just as you are." she couldn't help but smile a little proudly. "Do you remember your fight with Aadius?"

"Of course... how could I not forget that fight? First he defeats me, and then I teamed with Wolf to defeat him, but then I destroy him forever...it... felt like there was a LOT riding on that fight. Like something important I could never replace..."

"It was us.. our unborn child and myself.. what else besides that would prompt you to team up with Wolf?" She looked at him hoping that just maybe he would believe her.. at least somewhat.

I watch her and find not even veritaserum could produce stronger results of honesty.

"Tell me more."

Her eyes seemed to sparkle with delight at his words "I wouldn't even know where to begin.. what do you want to know?"

"Well.... start with how we met..."

She grinned "It's funny because it's quite similar to this. The Dark Lord sent us on a mission into the ministry .. we were to assassinate an official for him. Went pretty well until the Auror's caught on. You saved me.. not usually your style, but I guess I can be slightly difficult to resist." a wicked smirk crossed her lips.

I give her a through look over, "Yes.. I can imagine that being true..."

She smirked a little "you actually called me sweetie the first time during that mission."

"What made me stop?" I ask curious

" there's no way in hell you'll believe it.. " her smile faded thinking back to Malfoy manor.

"I think I've had enough surprises for one day..."

She nodded "yeah.. probably best for later. For now we have business to see to." She grinned as the lift stopped.

"So... before we go... you said we had a child... what is she like?"

"She absolutely perfect. Very intelligent for one so little and powerful."

She nodded looking happy "Alexis River Crouch"
