"I know who killed him Lukas. Crouch told me himself. I just..." He shrugged. "I don't feel the desire to make him pay for it. Bryn died, Tide died, someone else died. There's been too many deaths in this school as is, I don't want to cause any more heartache."

He shook his head. "Crouch wasn't here when Tide died. His broom broke, it was an accident. Tide wasn't murdered." He shook his head again. "And I'm not a murderer. If you want Crouch dead, you kill him."

'You're such an idiot... Humans have eyes, but they fail to use them.' he conjured a small stone, levitating it in the air with his wand.

'If a stone broke normally, it would go like this...' he flicked his wand, watching it beginning to crumble and splinter. It tumbled to the floor in little pieces.

'But if you use magic, like the Diffendo curse for example...' Lukas rebuilt the stone, slashing his wand violently. This time the rock practically vaporised, leaving nothing hanging in the air.

Like the broom had to Tide.

He watched the stone crumble. "I wasn't there for the match, I didn't see his broom break. I'm just saying this from what everyone else has been saying. If you think he was murdered then so be it. I have no proof to say if he was or wasn't."

'You don't have to be seen to commit an act..' the wheels had been turning in his head for days, he'd worked it out but he couldn't pin it on anyone.

'And pretty much anyone could walk onto the quidditch grounds, cast a spell and run away again.'

It did make sense what Lukas was saying. However, he didn't have one thing, motive. Why would Tide be killed?
