The Grounds

Kurdt inhaled heavily.

"I just wanted to say that...that..."

Just say it!

He hesitated. Kurdt closed his eyes, exhaled, and said in almost a fast mumble:

"That I really like you."

Kurdt was relieved to finally have that off his chest. He continued:

"And it's ok if you don't like me back; I just thought you should know."

Kurdt feared what Teddy's response to his outburst would be.

Teddy wasn't shocked, but he was surprised to hear those words spoken aloud. "Oh, you like me?" He let out a breath as it all sunk in. "Kurdt, I like you too, but I've got a boyfriend..."

Let's see, how to put this?

"Kurdt, I still want to be friends with you. Really, you're an amazing guy!" Teddy was sincere in his words and he hoped that Kurdt understood that.

Kurdt couldn't believe it.

How could I have been so stupid? Of course someone as perfect as Teddy already has a boyfriend.

Kurdt felt a single tear roll down his cheek. He managed to stop himself from crying fully.

"I guess I should've guessed that, huh?" He laughed. "Still, it's nice having that off of my chest."

Kurdt couldn't look at Teddy's face without forcing an awkward across his face.

He felt terrible that he had made Kurdt cry. He reached over and wiped the tear off of Kurdt's cheek. "Please don't cry Kurdt. This kind of just happened, like yesterday. Had it not happened I'd be saying yes to you right now. Not making you cry." He grabbed Kurdt and hugged him tightly. "I'm so sorry."

Kurdt liked it when Teddy hugged him, but now it was different. He pushed Teddy away.

"I-I-I just can't anymore Teddy; it took me this long to find someone like me, and to have this happen, all because I didn't tell you sooner, it hurts Teddy."

His lip began to quiver. His eyelids were barely holding back the tears now.

Logan:

Logan needed to stretch his legs; he'd barely been outside the common room in the past week, and his legs felt like there were sleeping 24/7.

Let's see, who can I torment today? He noticed his brother across the grounds. Kurdt...I guess he'll do. He saw someone next to Kurdt. A sadistic grin grew across his face. The mud blood? This is just too perfect.

He began walking over to his brother, trying to make himself seem as intimidating as possible.

He knew that he had hurt Kurdt. "Kurdt... I'm sorry. Can we at least still be friends? I don't want to lose you Kurdt."

He noticed Logan approaching them. He held up a hand and said forcefully, "Not now Logan. Go screw with someone else."

How dare he talk to me like that?

Logan glared at Teddy for a few moments, before noticing his brother crying. He began to laugh.

"Aw, poor baby Kurdt" He spoke in a voice not worthy of a two year old "Did someone make you cry." He make mocking gestures at Kurdt, and made his sides hurt from laughing so much.

He turned on Logan. "I said fuck off!" He wasn't going to let anyone else hurt Kurdt.

"What did you say to me, you filthy mud blood?" His red eyes burned with anger. Logan turned to Kurdt. "Cheer up Kurdt, I know what might cheer you up..." The grin returned to his face as he fused with Kurdt.

Logan Kurdt:

"Now, what were you saying you filthy mud blood?"

Logan what're you doing? Kurdt didn't know what his brother intended to do to poor, sweet Teddy.

"Don't worry Kurdt; I'm only trying to make things better. After all, this mud blood broke your heart, right? It'll probably make you feel better doing this yourself."

Logan pulled back his right arm, and threw a punch in Teddy's direction.

He ducked the punch and backed up. "Logan! Don't do this! You know I won't hurt you or him while you're fused." He pulled out his wand, but he kept it at his side.

"Doesn't this make you feel better Kirdt? Hurting the one that hurt you?" Logan laughed maniacally as he threw the punch.

Kurdt could do nothing to help Teddy; Logan had control of the body, and wouldn't be stupid to fall for any of Kurdt's tricks any time soon.

Logan noticed Teddy had pulled out his wand.

"Ooh. Now things are getting interesting." Logan pulled out his own wand, and aimed it at Teddy without hesitation. "Expelliarmus!"

His wand flew a few metres from his body. He ran and tackled Logan.

Logan was forced to the ground. He tried to force Teddy to release his grip with several punches to his spine.

Logan, please stop.

Tears began to fall from their shared body's single green eye.

He was struggling to pin Logan's hand down. He saw the tears coming from the one eye. "I'm sorry Kurdt."

"I've had enough of you mud blood!" Logan grabbed Teddy by the hair, and attempted to headbutt him.

Kurdt's eye continued to cry. It was probably for the best; he didn't want to see the boy he loved this way. All he could make out through his tears was the unnatural expression of anger across Teddy's innocent face.

Stars flashed in his eyes at the connection. He felt himself roll off to the side. He grabbed his forehead trying to see straight again.

Logan got back to his feet. One eye glowed with anger. The other was full of tears as Kurdt thought about what Logan would do to Teddy.

Grabbing it from the ground, Logan aimed his wand at the downed Teddy. He was about to perform the Cruciatus curse on Teddy, but Kurdt's tears forced Logan to rub his eye in order to see straight.

"Damn it Kurdt!"

He blinked several times. When his vision finally cleared he realised that Logan was standing above him, holding his wand.

Teddy knew there wasn't anything he could do. He put his hands up near his head. He was finished.

Logan was pleased with what he saw.

"Giving up already mud blood?" He taunted the defenseless student "Well I'm no finished yet."

His vision cleared, Logan aimed his wand at Teddy.

Logan, no; haven't you done enough!? Kurdt pleaded to his brother to stop.

"These mud bloods need to know their place Kurdt. If I don't show them, who will?"

Without hesitation, Logan spoke the forbidden word:

"Crucio!"

He screamed in pain and curled up on himself. The pain coursed through his body. "GAH!" he gasped. He began twitching because of the pain.

Logan's eyes widened in order to fully appreciate this moment. He began giggling maniacally as he shot another Cruciatus curse at Teddy. His green eye was again filled with tears, and was almost red itself now.

Why... Though he couldn't feel it physically, Kurdt knew he was crying.

Logan's eyes glowed with insanity.

"Now do you know your place mud blood?" He taunted the poor boy "Do you not see how much better we are than you?" Logan took advantage of the moment to stomp on Teddy's face, the curse still in effect.

The pain doubled. Teddy didn't think it could get any worse. He was spasming uncontrollably, his nerves were on fire. His eyes flew open and he screamed again. He didn't feel Logan's foot connect with hid face, the pain just blended into the pain from the curse.

Logan continued stomping until Teddy's face was bruised an battered. He had an idea.

"Tell you what mud blood: I'll make you a deal." A sadistic smile grew on his face "If you admit that you're a worthless pile of trash, I'll stop this. All you have to do is say: 'I'm a filthy mud blood and I don't deserve magic'. Go on."

Not waiting for a response, Logan shot another Cruciatis curse at Teddy t o make him comply.

"Say it."

"AHHHHH!!!!!" his voice was turning hoarse because he was screaming so loud. He tried to catch his breath long enough to say, "I'm a filthy... little mud-blood... and I don't deserve... magic." He was crying, his tears were flowing into the grass beneath his face.

Logan was satisfied with what he'd accomplished. He truly was worthy of being a Death Eater now. He unfused with Kurdt.

Logan:

"Here, have a moment with him. I'm done here." Logan returned to the castle.

That was the most fun I've had in years.

Kurdt:

Kurdt's eyes were still filled with tears. He looked over at the boy he loved. The boy he STILL loves. He had been reduced to nothing but a pathetic prideless whelp. But Kurdt didn't care. He rushed to Teddy's side.

"Teddy," He held his head in his arms "Are you ok?"
