Ace almost snapped at the boy, wanting to shout 'why the fuck should you come with us? You're not her husband are you?', but she refrained like she usually did. 'Sure.' she honestly had no energy to pick a fight, trudging to the hospital wing wordlessly.

Meredia had peculiar strength for a girl who'd almost died, carefully using a levitating charm to sling Sydnay into a wooden cart. It was morbid, but she didn't know what else to do.

Phoenix: Spotting my wand in the grass, I pick it up and perform a levitating spell on Pixie. She sighs in relief. "Thank God, I didn't wanna walk back up..."

I just nod at her, following the group silently.

Krystal had watched the battle carefully, after dragging River away from the middle. Her servival instics had been too much- she had to protect herself, protect River.
But now she hated herself for it. The one person she had promised- one of her extended family she loved completely- she knew Bryn was gone.
She sat down against a tree, shaking.

The girl blinked, her brain taking a second to see who it was. She hugged Mer, clinging to the girl tightly.

'Your not cursed.' She said gently, knowing the other girls grief was more important than her own. 'And i wouldnt want to be a part of any other family.'

He approached the Lake, Bible in hand. He went up to the two girls that were holding each other. "I'm sorry for your losses," he murmured.

'We knew....we knew it was going to happen. Bryn knew that our family would loose people. but we are still here, Meredia.' SHe glanced up at the boy. 'Thankk you...' Her eyes flicker to River and back. 'Can i trust you?' she asked bluntly.

"In these hard times it's hard to know who you can trust, but yes, you can trust me."

'good...' She sighs. 'Kid.' She adresses Charlie. 'Can you do me a favour? The girl unconcious behind the trees- she needs to go inside somewhere. And carefully.'

He peers around the tree to spot a girl laying on the ground. "Of course. Where do you want me to take her? The Hospital Wing?"

She frowns, knowing it was the best place. 'Yes. Tell Pomfrey that Riv is a vampire...and she was hit with out of her brothers stupid spells.'

He nodded. "I'll do that."

He walked over to River and gently picked her up. He carried her wordlessly to the Hospital Wing.

She watched him dissapear before turning back to her sister. 'I hope she will be...'

'You are not a murderer, mer. Killing him wouldnt have changed anything, you did the right thing.'
