The other boy became almost protective. 'Sydnay died for family, she honourable person. Did you save her? no. You not able to complain.'

'Pathetic.' Axel laughed right back into his face, unfazed.

Meredia didn't let herself smile, she had already completed an intricate shield around the pair, she really had become stronger over the past few months.

'You not need tongue to express love, only heart and intent.' Axel wasn't going to let Ahriman anger him, simply because it was what he wanted.

Meredia remained completely still too, even though inside she was cracking apart with grief, she wouldn't give Ahriman the satisfaction of seeing her upset.

Meredia yanked Ahriman away, showing surprising strength for a girl so tiny. 'You loved Lethe! And if you'd really loved Syd so much, why didn't you save her!?'

Luckily for her, Axel had disappeared back into the forest, and her shield held up. 'You've no right to torture the person she saved, Ahriman. She's my sister, i loved her. She loved her family above all else.'

Meredia remembered the contents of Sydnay's letter, she hadn't even mentioned Ahriman.

'No, i saved my sister, and she saved me.' she recited the contents of Sydnay's letter. (in the original writing section) It mentioned how she'd regretted everything she'd done, and this last act was her shot at salvation, at her peace of mind.

'You made her into a monster, we brought her back, she wanted to die Ahriman.'

Her shield faltered, but she could feel energy rippling through her skin. She didn't know where from, but she accepted it. 'Artemis even has the letter, it was addressed to him. It was her handwriting, Ace confirmed it for me.'

"No! She would never want to die, not like that!" He kept shooting spell after spell at the girl.

Meredia didn't relent with her shield, putting all of her energy into it. Still, it was being replenished as it was being used..

Saph wandered down to the lake, she was completely oblivious about the battle that had taken place not long ago as she headed toward her favorite tree. It's branches stretched out over the lake as though reaching for the cooling water and she loved how it bent and swayed slightly from the breeze the ghosted off the lake as she sat under it pulling out a small leather journal and began to write.

I'm sitting somewhere that's more secluded at the Black Lake, having been waiting for my leg to heal for a bit after what happened. Damn werewolf. Damn Phoenix. Damn them all...

Amy sat high above Raven, the branch she perched on swayed in the breeze slightly as she balanced perfectly. Seeing the girl below she smiled and jumped down landing with a soft thud "hey Ray." she smiled pleasantly.

She pulled her wand from a soft leather black boot and held it closely to Ray's leg "This might hurt a bit.." and with that Amy slid her wand very slowly yet gently along her injury. White light emitted from her wand as Raven's leg began to heal, her skin and muscle knitting together slowly.

I flinch a little at first, but then begin to relax immediately as it heals. "This is amazing..."
