He jumped up grinning "just keep your mind clear and focus on a sort of a wall around your memories and I won't be able to get through."

He took another long breath and focussed on nothing, a task made infinitely easier by the potion. He allowed his mind to become a clean slate, a feeble defense but years better than his first try.

"Are you ready? because I don't plan on taking this easy on you."

"Just do it..."

He did't need to speak the incantation as his wand slashed forward already trying to invade Brogan's mind.

Brogan tried to hold back the invasion of his mind, but his resistence was a meager one at best.

tru to his word he pushed even further into Brogan's mind "come on focus! you have to build a mental barricade." his voice seemed to echo through the boys head.

"I.. can't.. you're too strong... too.. frustrating!" Brogan struggled.

"use the frustration to push me out.. or else I'll uncover every secret you've ever had.. including the ones with Sapphire." he was being smug, but he knew Brogan could do this he just needed more confidence in his abilities.

"Get... out!" He tried to draw on is rage to push him out. It was as though he built a wall in his mind made of barbed wire started to push against him.

"That's it! But your rage is leaving holes." He was finding weak spots not holding back any more ..it was mostly curiosity that drove him deeper into Brogans mind.

The biggest secret in his mind was one thing. A feeling of paused rage, all his life throughout all his dark moments and hatred, there was only one moment of paused rage in his life.

Meeting Saphire. All his hate abated in that few seconds.

He finally let the connections between their minds break his dark eyes glancing towards Sapphire "I see...that you have to keep more hidden than anything." He clapped his hands together a bit "you'll be excellent in no time though I do see potential for sure.. let's see what you can do now"

"Potential?! What are you talking about?! If you can see that, I'm screwed!"

"Well I am the best at what I do... I've had quite a few years of practice on you." He grinned a bit "give your self a chance though you never know what could happen."

"Alright... let's try it again."

"I want you to try and invade my mind this time see if you can break through."

"You got it.." He posed his wand straight at his temple, "Just tell me when you're ready.."

"Would an enemy tell you if the were ready? Never hesitate."

"R..right! Legillimens!" This was a very pitiful first attempt as his invasion drew on his general lack of understanding of how people worked.

He stopped it easily looking at brogan "its like forcing you're way past a steel door you can't half ass it... try again."

"Legilimens!!" He tried harder this time, pressing as hard as he could with little to show for it.

He opened his mind up a little but it was mostly flashes of blood and violence for the most part "you have to understand that once you get in some ones head you're in control... you become almost a part of them."

"Ho..How do I peer in deeper?"

"Be more aggressive, but make yourself part of who ever you're trying to invade."
