Crouch's Redemption (RP)

I grin crazily at Cynder and point my wand at Ivan, "I will be in a minute..."

Cynder put a suddenly panicked hand on Crouch's wand arm, shaking her head.

"Crouch, killing someone is never the way... it's just not...."

"And SPARING him gains us....?"

"Perhaps another ally,"

Cynder spoke softly, her brown eyes serious.

"Mercy is looked on with favour by everyone. And Ivan would owe you his life."

"You're so naive. How many times have you people spared me Nd how many favors did I granted you?"

"AVADA..."

Cynder grabbed Crouch's arm firmly, now, pushing it down so the curse, if fired, wouldn't hit Ivan.

"Think what you're doing, Crouch. Just think! I was friends with Ivan- still am, in a way. He values favours.... and his life. And just think! If you kill him, no on will think you've changed!"

"Get it through your head! I haven't changed, I just have a new series of targets before I go back to my original ones." I snarl at her.

"I only healed you because it benefits me."

"And don't forget I came to your aid, here. I'll stick to my promise, of trusting you. But friends don't let other friends make foolish choices."

Her eyes were narrowed, expression firm as she stood up to Crouch.

"Calm down, and think rationally, Crouch. You're good as acting like the Dark Lord's puppet again."

"Vengeance is what I'm good at."

"Vengeance is what will get you killed someday."

Her voice was serious.

"You need to learn to be forgiving, Crouch...."

I scoff at the notion, ME forgive everyone for my injustices?! The sheer nerve of the suggestion!

"Forgiveness is what will get YOU killed."

"Crouch,"

Cynder scolded firmly, like a mother speaking to a child who was about to cross a road mindlessly.

"Listen to me, or so help me I will not be afraid to hurt you. You're acting like a mindless pawn. Take a deep breath, Crouch, and calm down. Do it.'

I snarl at her like a fierce animal that just learned it's master was about to put a leash on it.

smack!

Cynder slapped Crouch right over the face, Expression still stern.

"Crouch...."

A shocked look comes over my face but then an angry one quickly replaces it as memories of getting slapped pass my mind and I point my wand at her instead.

"You have 5 seconds to start running..."

Cynder held her ground, her expression as firm as before.

"Crouch. I'm tired of being rough with you. I'm not going to mother you around. I told you. Take a deep breath. And clam yourself."

I take a breath in, but it sounded much more like a the cries of a deadly beast.

(( I feel like Cynder is acting like a mother, when she's counting down for a kid to do something ahahah ))


The brown-haired girl, expression still twisted into a firm and stern look, remained steadfast.

"Again, Crouch."

OOC To be honest, that's really all Crouch needs to put him in the beter path.

I do it again, produce a much less hate-filled sound.

(( It's so weird to see Crouch like this though. It just. is. ))


A slight smile pressed it's way over Cynder's lips, as she spoke in a bit of a gentler tone.

"That's it. One more time, that's all."

"Don't push your luck." I say defiantly.

"Now, what to do with him since we're not doing the logical thing?" I gesture to Ivan.

"Figures, you can only get so much from you.."
Cynder rolled her eyes with a small laugh, before glancing at Ivan, who was still where he was standing, looking still completely blank, as if he had zoned out into his own world.

"We take him somewhere different from here... and you leave him to me. I'll handle it."

I clench my fist at my side. Leaving enemies alive was a terribly stupid idea, case and point me. Besides, my revenge isn't satisfied with them alive.

"I know what you're thinking,"

Cynder spoke smoothly as she walked over to Ivan, pulling out her wand and stupefying him for the moment.

"You don't want me to. But anyway, us two are friends. It'll be fine. I'll make sure he stays loyal...."

"I'd better not come to regret this, or I'll make YOU regret it tenfold." I caution her.
