Crouch's Redemption (RP)

I g2g. Night!

Crouch: I start walking toward the castle, trying to organize my thoughts. No matter what storm of hatred lay waste to my rationality I can't let it cloud my mind.

Wormtail: I'm clearly intimidated by Ivan's look but then turn to Sally, "I have to! He's the winning side..."

Voldemort: "Go you two. Do not appear before me without Crouch's body."

OOC Night ray!

Cynder paused, her expression turning compassionate as she saw Crouch starting to walk off.

She took a few jogging steps forward.

"Crouch, wait-"

Ivan chuckled to himself, pleased at the reaction Wormtail gave, and bowed to the Dark Lord.

"Jah, easy peasy, My Lord~ Kolkolkolkol~"

He straightened, turned with sunflower in hand, and began to leave.

I turn to her, "what is it?"

The girl's pace evened, and she looked Crouch in the eye, expression searching and kind.

"Listen... I really am sorry. It... it must hurt... is there... anything I can do to help.. even more, I mean..?"

I stare back into her eyes, the clouds of my rage were still vastly present.

"No one is ever sorry until they're gasping for their last breath. I should know by now I can't trust anyone."

"Well,"

Cynder pressed, keeping her eyes locked on the opposite's.
No matter how much they hated each other, in the past or even now... she needed him to know this.

"You can always trust me. To the death."

"And just what makes you so loyal? I never done a single good thing for you. You gain nothing."

This was a true question, I didn't understand it.

The girl gave a soft smile, offering a hand to the boy, her brown eyes compassionate, gentle.

"Because we're, in a way, alike. Both orphans, betrayed by all we've ever known... and because it's not fair to face something like that alone.
I don't have to gain anything... unless it's a friendship... and I hope that happens... I really do.."

I turn around and inhale deeply, one drop of wetness hitting the ground. "You weren't betrayed by all you knew twice though."

Cynder felt her heart ache for probably the first time for Crouch.

"But I've known it. You're right... I won't understand what it's like to feel that twice... but it doesn't mean I've felt betrayal's sting..."

Her own eyes went sad, and she looked down.

"... But... true friends don't betray friends. Raven is your friend... she's stuck up for you. And she won't leave you. And neither will I, no matter how you feel against me."

"But what do you do? When both light and darkness reject you? Where do you stand?"

OOC I'm off to sleep night.

Cynder gave a small smile, moving softly, but gently, and putting a finger to where Crouch's heart was.

"You, Crouch, stand firm. And you be who you know you are... where your heart leads. You do the right thing... and you find that... sometimes, you have your own side... and that means that you're unique... and you'll still have people stand with you."

Jack: I glare, following Ivan out.

Sally: I shake my head, giving him a soft smile. "No one knows who the winning side is. It may appear to be that way, but he is blinded by power..."

OOC So Crouch trust's Raven, right? -has hopeful eyes, was looking at past post-

Wormtail: "But... the dark lord... he has more power than anyone.."

Artemis: I approach Raven, "Alright you and I both know that our best chance is to work together."

Sally: "Power isn't everything... Wormtail, is it?" I say it kindly, "There's more to life than power... He just doesn't see it or even feel it."

Raven: I sigh, muttering back, "Yeah, I guess so..."

Wormtail: I start almost pleading as I lock her back up, "What could be gained from leaving?"

Artemis: "Now, tell me everything you know about Voldemort and his operations."

Sally: "Many things." I give him a kind and somewhat comforting smile as I start to list things, "Love from others, friendship, bravery..." I look at him with sympathetic eyes. "We all have some sort of fear Wormtail, but we don't have to live life drowing in it."

Raven: Although I hate to get along with him, if Crouch wants Voldemort out of this, then I'll tell him... "He pretty much just summons us and tells us what he wants done... -says some other things-"

OOC I swear Sally makes Artemis look like a villain she's so good lol

IC

Wormtail: "maybe... you can.."

Artemis: I write down the information. "Okay, that's helpful."

OOC Lol, thanks! I swear, she's an angel living down on earth! But I'm not going to be like Harriet Beecher Stowe and kill off my angelic character. -_- (Have you read Uncle Tom's Cabin? )

IC Sally: "You can leave him, Wormtail, if you truly want it. You don't have to live life in fear."

Ray: "Yeah, whatever..." I just look down, not really knowing what else to say.

Sam: I walk in, surprised to see Raven talking to Artemis... Without fighting. (Lol, sorry, I feel like playing Sam. )

OOC I haven't, but I know the gist of it.

IC

Crest: I walk up to Artemis with Sam, aiming my wand at Raven.

Artemis: "Don't Crest! I can explain all of it!

OOC Yeah, she made me SO mad!! She killed off my favorite character! She was like... A child version of Sally! (8 years old, named Evangeline). She made get ill and die!! D':

IC Raven: I smirk, wishing I could point my wand back at him.

Sam: I blink, not knowing what to say, especially now that Raven isn't even trying to fight back. Am I dreaming?

Artemis: I explain the situation to both of them.

Crest: "And we're just supposed to trust them?"

Ray: I laugh, "See my point, Artemis? Your brother's much smarter than you..."

Sam: I bite my bottom lip, "Yeah, how can we trust them?"

Sadly, I have to go now. My mom has homework. -_- C ya!
