Artemis: "Then that's what we'll do."

Voldemort: "Mr. Nuel.... I would do what I ask lest you wish harm to befall your wife."

Crouch: "Hide your true loyalty for now, it'll be helpful that you're in charge of them."

Ray: I nod, "All righty, then!"

Jack: I glare at him, "You don't have her..."

Voldemort: "Wormtail... bring her forward."

Wormtail: Fearfully and hastily, I go to the dungeon and bring up Sally who was obviously in pain.

(( play Ivan- Oh yes, sure. Spaced out, sorry. ))

Cynder gave a stiff smile to Artemis.
"I'm sure he'll cope okay.."

Ivan arrived a bit late- he had been in the middle of a quite wonderful torture session of a muggle, and wasn't too keen on leaving.

He held a bloodied sunflower in his hands as he walked smoothly to the door and knocked- not without first noticing Wormtail and giving him a sweetly intimidating smile.

Jack: My eyes widen in shock. I made sure she was safe... How...? How can I keep failing her...? "Sally..."

Sally: I cough, bruised and bleeding in some places. I see Jack and a small and sweet smile comes to my face. "It's okay, J-jack... It's all going to be okay..."

Artemis: "I can only hope we can return him to good, but it will be hard to do given all his crimes."

Voldemort: "The woman stays with us so long as Crouch lives."

"Ivan, you are to assassinate Crouch Junior. Use any means you see as necessary."

I'm shaken up. How...? She was safe... The guilt eats up my insides, as it has done for the majority of my life now. "Why so many people to go murder him? What do you need me for if you're having your Death Eater slaves and this Ivan guy?"

"I prefer... guarantees..."

Cynder eyed Artemis quietly, her brown irises gleaming slightly.
"... it'll be rough, but he'll make it through."

Ivan gave a nod, almost surprised that Voldemort knew it was him.

He did step into the room, giving a bow.

"Jah, My Lord~"
He chimed sweetly,
"Crouch Jr, easy as a muggle~"

Artemis: "Have you always had faith he would return?"

Crouch: The Dark Lord has wasted no time in my disposal. I shall waste no time in the destruction of the Hogwarts DE.

Cynder frowned and shrugged.
"In a way, I knew someday he would see it. That's all I could hope for..."

Ivan crossed his arms, straightening now.

"Pardon, my Lord,"

He speaks past his heavy accent, sweet face strewn with a smile.
"But if you also need deal with the... pretty lady.."
He glanced at Jack's wife,
"... I'll be glad to obey~"

Voldemort: I hold up my hand to silence him but look toward to acknowledge his words.

Artemis: "But what could get him to betray Voldemort?"

I glare at Ivan, clenching my jaw, throwing one of my daggers at him. "You will NEVER get your hands on her!!"

Cynder scowled.
"Realization. A spark of memory. Same thing that changed me."

Ivan fell silent, turning his eyes to the bloodied sunflower.
He stepped out of the way of the dagger calmly.

"Oh, your wife? Kolkolkolkolkol~ All the more temptation, friend~"

Voldemort: "Do as I say, and your wife shall leave alive. She is of no value to me, but she is also not part of the inferior mudbloods or muggles so any magical blood is wasteful. Lord Voldemort is generous."

Artemis: "Crouch must've realized Voldemort had been lying to him for him to plan his destruction." I realize.

"That's the only trigger strong enough to push him like this."

I stand there, grinding my teeth, resisting the urge to go strangle and torture that Ivan person to death. "What is it you want me to do then?"

"You are to aide me in Crouch's destruction."

"As if you don't have enough help..." I mutter under my breath.

Sally: I look at Jack pleadingly, not wanting him to take a life, even for me.

Jack: I don't even dare to look back at Sally. I've failed her once again. A filthy demon like me doesn't deserve a bright angel like her. I want her alive and unharmed, either way.

"Ivan shall take you back to Hogwarts school. The final piece of wizard superiority is underway... we are not to be stopped."

I just nod, not saying a word, guilt and shame ripping at my insides.

"put her back Wormtail..." The servant hastily obeys his master's orders, not wishing to suffer his wraith.

Sally: I look back at Jack and sigh, then look at Wormtail, speaking to him as he takes me back down, "If you don't mind me asking... Why are you working for this terrible man?" It's obvious that he's afraid of him, but I want to know what he would say.

Jack: I watch as Sally is dragged away, planning on a way I can bust her out.
You worthless piece of shit... You've always been nothing and always will be. That voice I hear every once in a while and heard all the time as a kid is back... The Shame. The Guilt. What everyone saw me as.

The girl nodded cooly, frowning.

"Yes, he must have... really, I feel awful for him... he must feel so alone.."

Ivan remained quiet, his sweet face still and calm, a smile strewn over it as he looked at Jack quietly.

He did like the idea of perhaps getting anyone or anything to torture- to play cat and mouse with.

Again, he shot Wormtail a cool, sweet, yet intimidating look.
