He sat there staring at her and then shook his head slowly. "You and your loyalty."

'Would you love me as much if i wasnt so loyal?'

'I hope it does.' I sigh, burying my head in his shoulder. 'Liria hates me. Even when i went to the trial, she looked like she could happily have murdered me. im guessing Artemis could too now.'

"I'm sorry that that's the price you've got to pay for being married to me. I'd much rather you have your friends than you having me with no one else."

'No i havent paid a price for being with you. your the person i want. Dont....dont say it like that...'

"Don't think I'm not aware of just how much you suffer for being with me. I know you are getting hurt because your friends don't approve of me." Dare he say it? he was filled with guilt. Guilt that this was all his fault. Guilt that his wife couldn't be happy and surrounded by people that love her because he was a Death Eater.

It tore him up inside every time he saw just how much this marriage was affecting her.

'I knew what would happen when i asked you, death. I chose this; because i love you. They can hate you, hte me, and yes, that will always hurt me. but it would hurt me more if i didnt have you.'

IC He shook his head. "But it shouldn't be like this. You shouldn't be hated because you got married. You should be loved and supported."

'and i am. by you, by crouch. we cant make everyone happy, death. and we cant be happy al the time.'

He blinked at her harsh words. "Fine. I'll drop it." He turned back to the window and continued the search for that pesky grindylow.

I sigh. 'Sorry.' i stroke his cheek lightly. 'but you are getting upset about something we cant change.'

He sighed. "I just hate that you have to go through this shit."

'i know. but dont be angry or anything, i choice you over them, i knew it would happen.'

He sighed again. "Fine."
