He was sitting on one of the comfortable leather couches thinking about his upcoming wedding. It was a scary thought that he would be getting married soon.

He would have River to take care of, he'd have to make sure that she was provided for. He wouldn't be able to just look out for himself any more. He'd have her to look out for as well.

WAIT!! Shouldn't we have Jack speak to her before she goes?

He was sitting by the fire, leaning against one of the couches, numb to all feeling.

Ahriman was dead.

He killed himself.

Death didn't feel...right anymore. Something was off. He knew he would never feel whole and right again. Ahriman was that missing link in Death's existance, now that he was gone, nothing else could replace it.

this is the day before the match

She sat alone in her dorm, glad for the brief moment of solace. Donia was scribbling a chaste letter, eyes flickering to the door every few seconds.

Since my arrival I have noted two things:

1) There is little potential here. Crouch needs to make his comeback, and fast. The peace here has made everyone docile and stable; i don't like it at all.

2) I do bring good news however, the people here should be beginning to trust me. I also found a brother of the mark - a traitor. I will deal with him accordingly, I always do.

Donia knew it would reach him, knowing he wouldn't care as long as she was in control of the situation. She'd try to reach out to Tide, if he'd accepted the mark before then he wasn't unsalvagable....

She returned to the common room looking annoyed as she plopped into one of the arm chairs by the fire, her brow furrowed in concentration. Whispers were the only sound in the common room tonight. it may have been a Gryffindor that died, but after all they were human it was still as shocking to them as it had been to anyone.

The common room had cleared out most people going to bed early and as the last embers of the fire began to die Jin began to drift off her eyes closing slowly as she fought against sleep but the blissful dark washed over her.

She walked through the sleepy town as though in a trance. Neon lights lit the streets brightly, but the lack of a noisy bustling crowd allowed her to walk in leisure enjoying the crisp night air. Feet slowly walking her away from bright neon and into dim street lit suburbs. Crickets filled the night air as a dog barked in the distance the sound being carried with a small gust. Soon the dim lights too faded in the distance and the only sound was the soft click of rubber soles to pavement and then only the slight crunch of gravel could be heard.Jinx was glad her legs knew this path well , eyes adjusting to the solitary sliver of moonlight.
This place was one of wonder and tragedy for her. A place where she had gained the most precious thing in her life and then lost it. There in the center of the long shadows of towering foliage, stood a large old tree. It seemed to have died as you did. Withered and leafless. It swayed in harsh blast of icy wind and that's when she heard it. The sound she had ached to hear for months. The sweet voice that had lulled her into an enchanted state of bliss, but it was harsh and warning as a single word could be heard through the howling "Danger!" She could feel her heart pounding beneath her rib cage as though it were about to burst. Jinx ran then as an overwhelming sense of peril filled all senses. I She ran until her lungs were numb and her muscles screamed in protest, begging her to stop with every step She pushed on.

And that was it.. her eyes snapped open, her breath still ragged and sharp as though she had just ran a marathon, chest aching as she gasped for air and looked around the room wildly.

After returning from the Malfoy Manor, Death had a lot to think about. Crouch had a plan, not just any plan either, a good one. He smiled to himself. This would be interesting.

I practically hop back into the room, realising Death was baack. '1 week 3 days.'

He looked up at River. "Huh?"

'until I become Mrs River Dolohov.' I smile. 'unless you've already forgotten were getting married'

He tried to conceal the shock. "Really? Ten days?"

'yep.' I sit down in front of him. 'getting cold feet?'

"No, it just snuck up on me." He smiled and reached out to touch her cheek.

'weddings do that.' I reach up and take hold of his hand
