The Great Hall

"Cynder, whatever you do, even if you don't love me you cannot go with this Ivan person!" -I warn her.-

Cynder blinked in surprise, tilting her head to the side.

"Even if I don't.... Matt, what are you talking about? Ivan and I are only friends. We've only been for a few days now. What are you talking about..?"

"I saw you two... in the dungeon, kissing passionately." -The aftermath of a dementor kiss could've have been more soulless than those words.-

"And he approached me today, with a sunflower... looking for you."

"But then he hummed a song about tossing your friends away."

It hit her.
Finally, what she realized she had forgotten....

Her face emptied of all color, and she shook her head firmly.

"Oh my God, Matthew... I... I didn't even... He had me take a few drinks of Vodka, and I have a low alcohol tolerance..."

A sad expression, she put a hand out to Matthew, her brown eyes expressing that she was, indeed, being truthful.

"I remember now what happened.... he kissed me out of no where, but I pushed him off... I... I'm sorry if you think that we..."


She shook her head slightly, a sudden sullen look crossing her face.

"But why would he..? He's a nice man.."

-Heaven might as well have blessed Matthew with how his face lit up. He reaches forward to hug his angel.- "Oh thank god!"

"I know not why he's doing this, but his intentions, they were those of Satan I am sure."

Cynder hugged Matthew back, exhaling slowly.
The Ohmu in her lap seemed to calm, clicking again in confusion and poking at Matthew slightly with it's antenna.

"I'm so sorry... about anything you saw, or what you thought. Matthew, I love you... and I promise nothing can stop that.."

-I kiss her lips softly, as though trying the validity of her words.-

Cynder seemed to relax at his kiss, and she put her arms around him warmly, keeping the kiss.

-Relief crushes all doubt in my soul, feeling at peace with the world again.-

Cynder pulled back from the kiss after a moment, putting her hand gently on Matthew's cheek, her eyes soft.

"... I really am sorry... if... if you were upset by what you saw.. I promise, I had no part of that.."

-I smile at her but then frown.- "I'm sorry I had doubts my angel..."

Cynder shook her head gently, smiling.

"It's the human thing to do, Matt.... really.."

OOC Hey do you mind if I try something? I'm considering making another character (god I'm a glutton for punishment.) and I think I have a way to introduce him

"Thank you Cynder..." -I hug her happily, and also pet the Ohmu on the head.-

Cynder smiled, shrugging.

"No need to thank me, Matt~"

The Ohmu clicked happily, touching at Matthew's hand with it's antenna.
