"Okay!" I smile at start running out in a rare burst of enthusiasm.

I smile, standing and go home with him. This is different, but it's nice!

As had come to be expected in the years, Crest was once more in the doctors having overdone his training again. He gave no regard to his infirm age, training just as hard as he had as a teenager.

Of course even though trust had come a lot easier to Crest now, there was still a very small number of doctors he actually went to see. Sally was of course the first one.

"I was just training." I explain simply.

Sally: "But you're training so hard that you're straining yourself... Train, but don't over-do it." I sigh, knowing I can't talk him out of training.

Sam: I sigh, but smile a little. Crest has always been this way...

Amber: I arrive with Bruce.

Bruce: "Where do you think he is? I don't see him at the training ground."

Crest: "I can't just sit idly by." I try to grab my cane.

Amber: "I don't know... He's been having to have treatment a lot lately..."

Sam: I place a hand on Crest's shoulder. "Please, Crest... We're not as young as we used to be..."

Bruce: "I wish he wouldn't push himself so hard..."

Crest: I let out a sigh and lay back down, looking up at my wife who even after years looked just a lovely to me, "When are you going to stop being wonderful?" I ask her with a smile.

Sam: Even after years, I still can't help but blush, smiling shyly.

Amber: "I know..." Eventually, we finally find them.

Bruce: "Dad are you alright?"

Crest: "Of course son, just overdid it. Don't worry about me."

"But how are you? You both seem very happy."

Amber: I smile proudly, patting Bruce on the back. "Bruce, here, stood up for himself! He took away some bullies wands using telekinesis!"

Sam: I grin, my eyes brightening with pride. I hug Bruce, "That's wonderful!!"

Sally: I smile sweetly, "Good job, Bruce!"

Crest: I smile at him with pride filling my eyes, "That's my son!"

Bruce: I get red from all the attention, looking away shyly.

Sally: I give Bruce a gentle hug once Sam is done suffocating him.

Sam: "We're so proud of you! We should celebrate!"

"Ummm.. it's okay... I didn't do much... Amber could've done better..."

Amber: "Bruce..." I look him straight in the eyes. "You stood up for yourself! THAT'S a GREAT accomplishment!"

Sam: "Your sister is right... What do you want, Bruce? Go out for ice cream? Ice skating? Anything you'd like!" I smile.

"Ice.. cream I guess..."

I smile, then turn to Crest. "Are you well enough to go or should I go pick some up and bring it here?"

I go to stand up, and take a few shaky steps before being forced to grab something to hold myself up.

Sally: I gently take his shoulder, sitting him back down. "You should stay here and rest... I'll work on healing that leg."

Sam: I look at Crest with a deep concern, sitting down and hugging him.

Jack: I sneak up behind Bruce, a grin on my face, "Well, well... I hear that my grandson has stood up for himself!"

I jump in fright, "Jack... don't scare me like that."

I laugh, followed by a cough. "Oh, it was just good fun... Besides, doing that will help your wits." I pat him on the back, "So I heard you scared off those bullies?" I grin.

I just nod to him, even though I know he was harmless in front of my parents, he still terrified me.

Sam: I stand, though I know Jack won't hurt any of us, I know he's still a bit insane...

Jack: "Hello, Samantha! Crest!" I look at Crest, "Still trying to heal up I see..."

Amber: I look at Jack cautiously, having been told a brief backstory of him.

"This is nothing." I answer simply.

I laugh, "Well, if it's taking this long to heal..."
