The woman smirked.

"Very well. You know the unforgiveable curses- but do you know their relative cousins...? All of them aren't as affective as the Unforgiveable ones, but they're useful in their own way.."

A pause, she listed them lightly.

"Confusionem. It's the first step of Imperius, except the fact that it sends your enemy into a strange daze and forces them to attack their own side in confusion.
Beatitudinem. It's like the Cruciatus curse, only it sends the receiver into such a relaxed and blissful state, it leaves them limp and vulnerable.
And at last-
Evigilare faciatis mortuus. The opposite of the killing curse, it reanimates the dead as flesh-hungry and violent servants with wits and no fear of anything."

-I clap my hands together in insane giddiness and chuckle while trembling excitedly.-

"Ohhoh those sound like fun..."

Persephone chuckled, nodding.

"You sound like a child on Christmas day.."

A pause, she took her wand and pointed it lazily at the water.

"They're easier to perform then the unforgiveables.... but they have a twist to them. Like the shadow shield charm, you need to focus the energy into it. Imagine the anger toward the other side... imagine the bliss... imagine the hunger for flesh."

-Crazy Grin- "All too simple for me..."

Persphone smiled cooly and nodded.

"Very well. The birds should be enough to work with for now... look, already a new flock has flown in to replace all the ones you killed..."

A smirk, she waved her wand, and a colorful bird flew lazily over, as if under an imperius, and landed on a nearby branch.

"We'll work with the reanimated dead last. Choose whichever you want to preform first- and do tell me before you cast your spell..."

"I believe I'll try the confusionem curse first if it's all the same to you."

The woman nodded.

"Very well... Just focus, and utter the spell- with your strength, you'll get it in no time.."

-I close my eyes to gather focus.-

The bird blinked it's clear, beady and beautiful black eyes, letting out a twitter.

Persephone watched closely, inhaling.

"Good... good.."

-I snap my eyes open-" Confusionem!!"

A jet of gleaming gold shot from Crouch's wand, and hit the bird square on.

Immediately, the animal blinked, it's eyes gleaming over and shining bright white, like a light.
It twittered and fluttered it's wings, stumbling backwards, fluttering into the air.

It looked at first as if it might just fly off in fear- as if the spell hadn't worked.

But at the movement of another bird flying up into the air behind it, it turned and let out a screech, flying forward to divebomb the other creature, though looking dizzy and dazed.

-I observe in wonder.- "Hmm I can definitely see the practical application of this.."

Persephone grinned darkly a the bird attacked the other of it's own kind, what most likely was it's mate.

And it shoved it to the water, the swampy and wet surface, divebombing it down further until the opposite was shoved into the water, left to drown.

The black-haired woman raised a brow to Crouch.

"I'm very, very surprised in you. Your magical skills are, indeed, more than impressive."

-Crazy Grin- "Yes I'm aware of how great I am... only the one I serve is greater than me..."
