Entrance Hall

She simply shrugs, "I see what you mean, they're very anti werewolf aren't they."

"Incredibly. Do you know how difficult it was to clear Nix's name? I wasn't there, but I heard they were pretty damn strict."

"I know how they can be." She glared at the floor.

"It's hardly fair... werewolves are still people 99% of the time."

"I don't know why they have to be like that, werewolves, as you say, are people, they shouldn't be so harsh just because they don't understand."

"There ARE a few that are a little... you know... off... but half of the ones I've met are nice."

"I know, i've only met four werewolves, one was a bit...off. The others were great though."

"I've met four. Nix, Eugene, Crouch and Greyback. Needless to say, the last one wasn't a pleasant experience at all."

"True." She shuddered at Greybacks name, "You know I have a couple of werewolves in my family, there distant relatives, I guess that’s why mums still got a job at the ministry, I’ve never met them. I've met Phoenix, Eugene, Crouch and another when I was up north, can't remember his name, only saw him once, he wasn't what i'd call pleasent."

I shrug. "As far as I know, Phoenix is the only one in my family."

"They're on my dad’s side, probably another reason mums still got a job." She paused thinking, "Haven't seen my dad in a while, it's probably a good thing though, he'd just convince me to leave Hogwarts. Or at least he's try to." She smiled.

"... My parents still think I'm dead."

Midnight looked at her again, "They think your dead..." There was certainly more to Pixie than she had first thought, "I didn't know." She thought of her parents, how would they react if they thought she was dead. "It must be hard."

I shrug. "I never really knew them anyway. They didn't know me that much. Phoenix is the only member of my family that really knows me. In fact, she's the only person who knows me properly."

"I can see why your so close."

"Yep. There's no one else I feel really comfortable around."

OOC: Um... that might've changed, Pix...

"Phoenix was a huge help, she introduced me to some people, she's a good friend, She supports me, she knows I had a bit of a tough time a while ago but she still sticks by me." her mind strayed once again to her first day back, she had to think. "Sorry I err.. have to go." She got up and looked at Pixie,"It was good to meet you." He turned and walked up the stairs.

"See ya."

OOC: She's not so supportive anymore...

I walk through the Hall with my sister, but I stop her before we enter. "Hey, uh, Nix?"

She looks back, frowning. "What is it?"

I fold my arms and stare at my feet, feeling uncomfortable. "I know what happened. All of it. Even the bit with Eugene." I keep my gaze on the floor, studying the it intently. "Why didn't you tell me? I'm your sister, Phoenix... I'm here for you."

She stays silent for a while. "I didn't want to burden you with my problems."

I roll my eyes. "That's your job as my sister, dumbass. Besides, I'm the one wo has a screwed up, virtually non-existant love life. It sucks, but I'll deal with it. You and Eugene are clearly in love, and I don't want you two to suffer."

"It's not as simple as that-"

"Yeah, it bloody well is!" I finally look up, reigning in my irritation. "I doubt that I'll ever have a good relationship, and you've got one right in front of you that you're letting go. Would you rather have Crouch use him as leverage over you, putting him constantly in danger, or do you want to actually spend time with him? Don't answer that, 'cause you'll spout some crap about 'He'll be in danger'."

"But he will-"

"It doesn't matter. Just... don't let this happen, Phoenix. You're ruining things for yourself."

I huff and return to staring at the floor.

"Why do you care so much?" she asks quietly. "It's my business..."

"I told you, I have no romantic stuff goin' on in my life. You've got Eugene... I don't want you to be stuck with the same deal I got given."

"I'm trying. Honestly, I am. And don't be so hard on yourself, Pixie..." She smiles kindly. "You'll find someone someday, I know you will. If I turn out to be lying, you can make me into a fur coat."

"Ha ha," I say sarcastically, but with a grin on my face, "you're hilarious. Ok, I'm done. I just wanted to tell ya what I thought on the matter..."

"Thank you. I didn't realise you felt that strongly about it." She hugs me quickly, then tugs on my arm lightly to continue walking, almost as if the conversation never happened. It obviously affected us both though. I can tell because Phoenix is frowning slightly, just a tiny downward turn of her eyebrows.

Huh. Guess I've got a little more influence than I thought.

OOC: I just wanted to do that scene, plus it's leading onto something to do with Pixie's past I thought of while out today. It's really random, to be honest :L

"Come one, come all! Check out my latest stroke of genius!!" -I announce so all the entrance hall could hear me.-

"Just another ingenious invention by me, Artisan Strayer!" -I smirk proudly as I reach into my bag to (stall time while I think of what it could be) get it out.-

"Well of course! It's not like there isn't anyone who SHOULDN'T know my name!"
