"W..what do.,. you want from me?"

"Want Derelict to live I know that, but to what end?"

'Just because....everyone deserves to live.'

"Not an end, but.. very well..."

'Is that you agreeing?'

"Derelict will live for now, yes he will, because I'm curious what you intend to do..."

I smile. 'Well....its a start.'

He got jittery and his speech reflected the shakiness in his movements, "Well.. eh.. you require Derelict to do something for you?"

I shake my head. 'I want you to get...your mind back. and possibly your name.'

"De..Derelict doesn't really understand.. how can Derelict get his mind back? Mind is in here!" He pointed to his head, "And name I have!"

'Derelict isnt a name.'

"But... it's what the foggy people made him feel like..."

'But the foggy people aren here anymore. and they wont be again.'

"Be not so sure, everywhere they are, even after detective!"

My eyes narrow. 'Even after the detective? what does that mean?'

He slapped his hand over his mouth, "Ohh! Shouldn't have said that! Forget Derelict said it you do please?"

'Nope. tell me. It might be improtant.'

"But if I speak, he might be mad at Derelict!"

'Whose He?'

"Nope nope! Derelict has said too much already!" He told her fearfully.

'If your still scared, it must be someone that can still get to you...' I frown, my eyes flickering to the door.

Morrose had heard it all. Damn that Derelict, when his mind was working right he was an incredibly cunning man, but all the other times he was a raving lunatic. It made him a perfect cohort. For anything less-than-legal, he could get advice from him but should he need to deny his involvement no one would take the man seriously. Now it seemed he was threatening his entire power base. 

"Get me , the careful one always can!" Derelict told her.

I shake my head, thinking quickly. I pull out a piece of parchment and quickly write on it You need to tell me. Now.
 I show it to him, at the same time as saying loudly. 'You make no sense...'

"What's not to understand! The careful one is out for me now!" He took the paper and wrote on it, 'The Careful One'. He knew the name of his co-conspirator by no other name.

I draw an arrow to the door with a questionmark.
