IC: While he was still furious, Eagle did not let it show.

It wasn't the fact that someone knew his real name, but that contributed to it. It was because Lukas had managed to break his shield and find his name. Eagle prides himself on his abilities - mental, physical, emotional, take your pick - so that was a blow to said pride.

Dully, he says, "Hello, Brynmor."

He drops his irritation immediately, replacing it with concern for his friend. "What's the matter?"

You know it? I won't question you, Brynmor... You're one of the few I trust completely.

"Is there anything you or I can do?"

How... How can I comfort him? Hesitantly, afraid that he's going to make some sort of faux pas, he pats Bryn on the shoulder. "You Desouzas have always found a way of surviving, my friend."

"I have never trusted the Ministry. While my goal is to bring the Death Eaters to justice, the Ministry is not the way to do it. They are corrupt." Eagle scowls. "While it goes against most of the guidelines I set for myself in attaining my goal, I will help you however I can. Your family is good; none of them deserve to be caught by the Ministry."

Sydnay actually does, but she does show goodness.

'Syd's evil by default, but there is another side to her, i can't let it get crushed again.'
