If ever a more perfect concoction of greif and anger could be brewed, it was now.

She didnt move, but a tear leaked out of her eye and rolled down her face.

"Do me a favor, she-who-replaced-my-sister... if you're going to croak, do it. I'd rather see you dead than see River continue like this." With that I turn to start walking out.

More tears flow, and quietly, barely a whisper, she utters something. 'Crouch...'

I look over at her, and for once in my life am silent.

OOC You know this makes me question, Crouch was very quiet as a child, why do you think he's so talkative now?

ooc because now he has found his voice, he has to make up for the years of being quiet?

I woke up to the world slowly- I didnt know where i was, couldnt remember anything that had happened, but i could hear the words being spoken. You used to be my world...I'd rather see you dead...
I didnt recignice the voice, but i knew how it was. My brother. suddenly i remembered who it was, and called out to him- but when he didnt speak, i raised my head, looking at him.
And then i remembered. WHat had happened, what i had done. Why he hated me.
and i hated myself for it.
'Im....sorry.' I choke out, finally.

My expression softens dramatically and I walk over to her, "For what?"

I roll on to my side so i can see him. 'Everything.'

I sit down next to her (and say 'Screw you, I'm evil' and snap her neck), I don't know what I can say here. All my enemies... not one among them apologized to me. Not ANYONE was ever sorry for what they did.

dies, the light fading out my eyes- and i know that its for the best. Crouch would never forgive me anyway.....

I look at him carefully, the tears still dripping out my eyes. 'say something.'

"I... can't. I don't know what to say." Honesty rings in my words, not even a small amount of deception.

I nod. 'Ive ruined it, havent i?'

OOC Me: "Yes, Crouch is actually the good guy in this. Well... sorta."

"No... an evil man from our past did."

ooc thats actually a scary though, Crouch being the good one of the siblings....

I smile slightly. 'Yeah, but i made it worse.'

"Look... just... let's... forget it."

I look at him, comparing him to the memory i have of him as a child, looking at him now- eyes softer than normal, almost lost for words.
'really?'

I look at River and think back to all the times she helped me get to my feet when I was laying face down on the floor.

I just nod my head.

I hold out my hand to him, carefully, seeing it shake slightly. 'friends?'

I smirk at her and take her hand, "Let's just start with not going to put me in Azkaban again..." I joke the way I used to.

'I promise.' I whisper. 'I just want you back as my brother. i dont want to fight anymore.'

OOC and IC "Well if you wanted me back, putting me in Azkaban to have my soul swallowed was probably the least effective way to do that."

'I didnt know what else to do...'

"I have to ask, how did you get so strong?"

I look down. 'I dont know. I think i was always strong, but i never used my magic before to show me it. one i had pratice...and training, i could just use it better...'

"I believe our strength comes from our mother."

OOC BTW I had a VERY cruel twist I thought of, but I really don't think I'll do it.
