Shapeshifter's Underground (Somewhere under London)

"Best of luck!"

-I go to my bedroom, and lay out in the bed quickly falling into the best sleep of my life.-

Light faded as the first of the doors shut, the puzzle of the lock placed in it's respective place for only the smart to open.

The Second door slid closed, it's unique writing from one of the oldest families the only way of opening it.

The third door rose from the ground, only a small cross-shaped key-hole-looking indent the only penetration in the door.

The fourth seemed to have a large clockwork with a giant four-leafed clover on it.

And the fifth and last door was closed, opening only from the inside-out, made of pure metal, and seemingly no way to open it. It had a pawprint painted on it's outside.



Fuin looked behind him as the last door was sealed, a large force of fire locking the door in a massive flair of heat.
Finally, The boy dropped Cynder with disgust and plucked the needle from her neck.

After a few moments, she began to stir.

".... You brought her at last...."

"I told you I wouldn't fail you... but I must say, it took a lot to get her.."

A snarl, Fuin glared at the limp body of Cynder, rubbing his neck where the black blood sealed his wounds closed.

Ged, however, seemed to look with softness and comfort.
He kneeled and picked up the girl, like a parent carrying their sleeping child.

He assured a sure hold on her, and began walking down the path to the village. To her home, where a whinnying horse and barking dogs in the night sounded.

-I walk over to the pair.- "So wait... you got her then?"

Ged nodded quietly, still carrying the frail girl.
He paused, scowling, thoughtful.

Fuin was the one to respond verbally.

"Of course I got her. And it took damn near long enough. Not to mention three of her stupid friends tried to stop me..."
He shook his head in frustration.
"They didn't seem to understand that I always get my way...."


Ged was giving a darker and darker look.

"Fuin, did you disobey me?"

"Excuse me?"

"Did you sleep with this girl?"

Fuin tilted his head, looking angry.

"No, I didn't! I wouldn't sleep with that sick little twig any day!"

Ged's eyes narrowed, looking at Cynder's quiet figure.
Fuin was telling the truth.

So... that was the unparalleled joy and passion he had felt come from her....

"... It seems you have brought more then just Cynder here, Fuin... you've also brought the little life within her.."

"Wait a second... 'little life'? Ya mean...?"

Ged was scowling more and more.

He pulled her shirt up just to show the frail girl's slightly swollen stomach.
And though he was upset about her giving herself to someone before he had gotten her to the Underground for her to choose her own mate here, a small smile forced it's way onto his mouth.
He dismissed it as Fuin watched with an open mouth.

"... Cynder must have found someone well, then. The child is one of us...."

Fuin tilted his head.

"A shapeshifter, then?"

"Yes..."

Another pause, the boy narrowed his eyes, growling.
But Ged seemed genuinely worried.

"... This might just worsen our situation.."

"Worsens? Don't ya guys think ya should've given me a memo about all this?" -I say more to Fuin than Ged.-

Fuin snarled at Joa, his cruel and upset look growing on his face.

"In case you realized, I did not plan on her becoming pregnant."


Ged scowled.

"Indeed. It was our plan to keep Cynder hidden, for her to remain virgin until she came here. We wanted her to choose her own husband, to help our breed grow if she so chose- you see, many of our women are sterile, and the few that could produce have fallen ill..."

Ged was frowning as he began to walk again, Cynder stirring in his arms.
He spoke to Joa while Fuin fumed over his failure at keeping her from somehow getting pregnant- and the fact that he didn't have an explanation for not wanting her to be.

"However, if the one Cynder chose to be with knows, or finds out, about her being abducted.... the Ministry could find out- and our people could be in grave danger...."

"Wait a second..."

"You.." -I point to the purple haired guy.- "You said three of her friends got in the way. Describe what they did." -I say seriously.-

Fuin blinked before frowning at Joachim.

"Well, one of them just stared at me... gave me a real evil sort of air. Most of my attacks missed him until I actually went fully physical against him.
The second shot spells at me and blocked several of my bloody needles attacks..
and the third just... held her. Like he wouldn't ever let her go.."

He frowned and rolled his eyes.

"Bloody dumb-asses if you ask me."

-I sigh in disappointment, anger, and a little loathing.- "Topher."

A raised brow, Fuin blinked.

"Topher? Oh, so now you know one of them?"

The boy snorted smugly.
"No wonder... you-"


"Fuin, silence. Joachim is under my protection, and you will not insult him... weather he knows one of the three or not."


There was a sudden loud thumping and clip-clopping as a large Shire Horse galloped toward them from up the path, a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd sprinting at it's heels.
Toki and a few other women chased after them.

"Ged! Look out!"

Ged stopped and looked at the horse, who instantly skidded to a halt in front of the small group.
It had it's ears back, and it pushed it's large nose against Cynder's neck, mouthing her head and damping her hair with it's frothy slobber.

Toki was panting when she caught up.

"Sorry, Ged! I couldn't keep a hold of him..."

Ged merely laughed as Cynder groaned, her eyes flickering open and closed again.
The dogs greeted Joachim with friendly relief and curiosity.

-I smirk at the group, I've liked close to everyone here outside of this Fuin bastard. Still if Topher was involved, so too was probably his NEW friend Artemis...-

Toki turned and grinned at Joachim.

"Joachim~ How's your house? It took a lot to keep the girls at work instead of coming to visit you.."

A chuckle, the woman gave Joachim a welcoming hug.

"W-where am I...?"

The woman turned at the voice.

Cynder had finally awoken, and she inhaled deeply, a grimace on her lips.
Her shoulders and arms were drenched in blood, and she seemed upset. But when she did see Phantom, she brightened, not noticing anyone else at first.

Then she did.

Ged set her down as she squirmed, panicking.

"W-who are all of you!? F-Fuin!? G-Ged!? W-Where's Matthew? And Artemis...? And T-Topher?"

-I hug her back.- "Yes I'm sure my awesomeness keeps them quite busy..."

-I look at Cynder.- "I knew it... Ged, you better be ready for a fight... "

Ged was tense, scowling.

"Joachin, do any of those boys have ties with the Ministry in any way...?"


As for Cynder, she had been reduced to tears, shuddering in confusion and fear.
Toki had knelt now beside her to comfort her, but she pushed the woman away.
The dogs and the horse were the only comforting ones to her, and she accepted them eagerly.

"Well I don't know about the Matthew guy, but Artemis I know does and Topher's tryin' to become an auror now..."

Silence.

Ged scowled before touching Cynder's shoulder.

"Cynder, I will not hurt you. Please stand."

"Why s-s-should I...!?"

"Please..."

The girl paused, and slowly rose, the tears staining her bloodied cheeks.

Her uncle looked at Joa again and frowned.

"Joachim," He spoke smoothly, "I'm afraid that for the moment, we must seal everyone inside here. If the ministry finds out, everyone here will be killed. I'm sorry, but for now, no one can leave..."

Cynder looked horrified.
She... couldn't leave...
No one could...

"W-where's Severus...? Surely... he must know I'm here... he has to..."

"Hey buddy! We had a deal!" -I look at him a bit angrily.-

Ged looked with sad eyes at Joachim.

"Indeed,we did... but right now... it's too dangerous..."

-I keep the scowl up.- "You kidding me? We got like, what, hundreds of shapeshifters down here! They'll probably only send a handful of aurors! We got this place!"

Cynder had pressed herself closely to the horse, hugging the dogs to her.

Ged's scar began to glow eerily.

"I have been hunted all my life for crimes I have not committed. The Ministry will do much more then send a handful- and if you will endanger my people..."

a pause, Ged frowned, inhaling sharply.

"I will still allow you to leave and return as often as you wish... but if I find you or anyone you mingle with as a threat, I will do what is necessary."

""Look... I'll stick here, but still... once this mess clears up, I want to see Saph again."

OOC I can only keep thinking of Lando: "This deal is getting worse all the time..."

Ged paused, then inclined his head.

"You will, I promise you."

Fuin gave a dark look to Joachim before snarling at Cynder, who whimpered.
Ged looked at the girl, then at Joa.

"Joachim, by the way... have you met my niece, Cynder?"
