Early Years

~Bryn~
The young boy nodded, his expresion darkening slightly. 'Unless they're yours to guide...'

Chase

Chase tilts his head to the side, his eyebrow raised. A look of recognition sparkles in his eyes for a moment before he hides it. "What do you mean?"

~Bryn~
'They need someone to lead them, otherwise all this world sees is destruction by humanity.'

(seeing Kira yet?)

Chase

Chase frowns, his dark eyes only hinting at his worry. "Hm..." is all he replies.

OOC: -Fist bump- Kira and L

obvs Bryn becomes less kira-like.

~Bryn~
His voice softened a little. 'It needs...justice, the ability to be fair.'

Chase

"That's what the law's for, Bryn. It brings people to justice."

~Bryn~
His expression yet again became dark and slightly bitter. 'Not everybody, sure didn't bring my father to justice, never has done.' he pulled up his sleeve, revealing a dark mark over various scars.

Chase

Chase's already large eyes widen further. "If the law had known about it they would've taken action. I'm sure about that." Chase didn't say any more, as he was examining the Mark.

~Bryn~
'The law that passes around here? The Ministry? they know alright, and they never did anything for me and my sisters.'

Chase

Chase's hands became fists at his side. He point-blank refused to see that the law was flawed. The Ministry, yes, but justice? No. "Then let someone know who can help."

~Bryn~
'There isn't anyone, it's all corrupt to me.' he said nothing more, his tone bitter still.

Chase

"There has to be someone. There always is."

~Bryn~
He shrugged. 'I highly doubt it, there hasn't been anyone til now, i'd still like to believe there is but...'

Chase

"Justice will prevail!"

His expression remained cold. 'It never will do for me.' he turned his back on the boy, averting his eyes elsewhere.

Chase

Chase stared at Bryn's back, his poor social skills making him unsure how to respond. After a few minutes, he said, "If you ever need someone to turn to, or somewhere to go, I'm certain I can find somewhere for you. I don't like seeing evil get the better of people."

~Bryn~
A part of him nodded gratefully, but the dominant part of him, the darker side, didnt turn around. 'At least i'm accepting it, it doesnt cause me pain anymore.'

Chase

"There must be a balance to good and bad, yet the bad always seems to have a slight advantage." Chase made a hmm noise and chewed his thumbnail. "You shouldn't accept the badness, Brynmor."

~Bryn~
'Evil is a poison, once it's in your system, even if you wanted to it's almost imposible to remove.' He shrugged.

Chase

"But with the right antidote, it can be healed."

-Bryn-
'Do you have that sort of antidote?'

Chase

"No, not yet. But if you try and pull yourself out of it, that can at least slow the effects for long enough." Chase moved to the side so he could see Bryn's face. "I plan on stopping as many DE as I can in the future. We barely know each other, but I consider you a friend. I don't want to have to throw you in jail."

He let himself smile. 'I am a hopeless cause Chase, for now. This may change, but at the moment i can only afford to be loyal to the Death Eaters...' Bryn sighed.

Chase

"At least try to get out. The DE have too many followers already, I wouldn't like it if a nice person like you were added to their ranks."

'I was added quite a few years ago, I'm seen as quite important now, i'm surprised you're still talking to me actually. I'm supposed to be a monster.'
