The Cemetery

I scoff
"I don't have to do squat by your standards. I came here because I wanted to and I'm not leaving until I want too."

I groan and snarl at her, "God, you're annoying..."

I scoff, actually almost wanting to laugh
"Look whose talking."

"Well if you're done wasting my time, I suggest you leave before I get too angry to care if you have a dark mark or not."

I fold my existinguished arms
"I don't take suggestions from assholes."

Sitting on a gravestone, he looked out into the night sky. Meeting in obscurity, taking pains to make sure he wasn't spotted...

It was so... boring. His plans couldn't bear fruit quickly enough. 

However his plans would be greatly facilitated by additional support. He had sent word out to a select few death eaters to meet him here, only ones he knew and trusted completely. This objective needed a small team, not a massive force. This wasn't an age of armies anymore...

She had finally been summoned.

Donia carried herself with a particular finesse, one that could carry out an execution just as quickly as it could spare someone from certain death. She was no grunt, not one to take orders without carefully evaluating the consequences. And all of her intelligence was hidden under a curtain of white hair and dull blue eyes.

However, she didn't need her sight to feel his presence, to sense an ally she had not encountered in months.

'I've been waiting a while.' But she did not dare question what had occurred in her absence - she had been monitoring the actions of the enemy.

'Would you like a report, or was there something else you wanted?'

"Ahh Donia..." He jumped off the grave stone and smiled at her crazily, but it was slightly marred by sadness. "You're a sight for sore eyes indeed."

"Certainly, tell me all that you'd heard..."

A slight smile creased her usually stoic features, clasping her hands behind her back.

'The kitsune. He put the Desouzas out of commission. Poisoned the werewolf, hasn't been able to leave Mungo's for months. Bryn? He's been... distracted.'

She picked a leaf off a nearby tree, crushing it between her fingers. 'Following a trail of crumbs that leads to nowhere. The usual.' She let the bits of leaf drop to the floor.

'I've heard you've been sick.'

Crouch's smile didn't grow or shrink, but you could tell a flare of anger was brewing, "I've tried to keep that out of public view. You really do have an aptitude for that kind of work."

"But Lukas took down the Desouzas? Excellent, at last some good news! Maybe I'll pay that knife throwing degenerate a... what do they call it?" He took out a look of faked confusion before coming to a fake realization, 

"Murdering! That's the word! Might pay her a murdering..."

'Your news hasn't gone public, trust me. I just know things, maybe too much sometimes.' She rolled her shoulders in a shrug, looking away from him for a moment.

'Pay her a visit, if you like. I personally don't think she'll be a threat. She's under Lukas's thumb for now.' She smirked a little.

'Bryn, however, is a problem. My distraction won't last forever, he'll figure out that youve been absent too.'

"Oh Donia, don't you know? All work and no play makes Crouch a dull boy..." He chuckled madly to himself as he continued. 

"If I may ask, what distraction did you put before him?"

'A fake Death Eater hideout, basically. He thought he'd found us, but we're a bit harder to seek out than we used to be.'

She shot him a grin, twirling her wand between her fingers. 'I didn't think attacking someone who's basically a vegetable would be very fun. Where's the chase? the thrill of the hunt?'

Crouch laughed loudly as she told of her distraction, "Oh Donia you have just brightened my day. The thought of the stumped look on his face fills me with glee..."

He shrugged, "you got to enjoy the little things sometimes. Besides, if she's a vegetable, she'll be very easy to forget about and pass off as an accident. I haven't killed anyone in a while and quite frankly I think I'm overdue..."

'Your murderous instinct are never sated...' She murmured more to herself, peering around at the gravestones that littered the area. 'You can't kill her in hospital, or i would've already. The kitsune's got some deal with her anyway, she's not an enemy.' She didn't put any emotions behind her words, simply explaining the cards as she saw them.

Crouch's smiled dropped to a frown in a second, "Guess it would be rude if I offed good ole Lukas's little pet..."

'There's always someone else..' She raised her brow at him, smiling to herself. 'The other Desouza, Bryn. Since he's been following a lost trail lately, why don't you be the present at the end of it?' She drew her wand across her throat, making a cutting motion. 'Chop chop.'

Crouch licked his lips like a recently fed carnivore savoring the remaining blood splatter, "It has been a while since we last fought. I wonder if he'll be able to challenge me..."

Donia was not one to question confidence, simply nodding in his direction. 'If you believe you can take him on, i'm not going to stop you. He's gone unpracticed with his magic and abilities for a while - He's been relying on his wits this entire time.'

Pressing her fingers together, she tried to think of other observations about him. 'The deal he used to have with his hands, when he got really strong, he hasn't used it at all, not for months at least.' Donia wondered if the whole reviving thing with Bryn had started unraveling somehow.

"Weakened, alone, and tired...."

Crouch thought it over in his head, "I dare say he might like a visit from an old sick friend..." 

"Am I right to assume you know what the current plan is?"

She shot him a curious look, brow furrowing. 'Not at all, actually. Most people don't know the pack i run with, so i'm not usually kept in loop with Death Eater business.'

Plucking at her fingernails, Donia let her breath escape in a sigh. 'I just gather intelligence, for now.' She didn't comment on how mundane it had become.

"Well I can fill in the gaps for you. But you have to say the magic word..." He teased lightly.

'Genocide?' Donia offered as an answer, stifling the urge to laugh at her own joke.

Crouch laughed so hard it was actually starting to strain his lungs, "And here I thought you didn't have a sense of humor!"

Her lips creased into a smile, clasping her hands together to stop her shaking with laughter. 'Oh, i do. I'm just not the... expressive type. The less people know about me, the easier it is to kill them.' Donia shot him a wider grin.
