Combatants: Fade vs Descole
Setting: Ministry
To the: Fade (arrest), Descole (death)

(( ohhhhohohoho. Accepted. This will be.. quite.. fun... ))

A cold look, stormy eyes narrowed under his mask.
His fingers tapped the hilt of the sword.
And Descole gave a small snarl.

Fade... Strayer..
What in all of Hell would he want with him here..?

-I turn and look at him. My eyes were filled with resolve, no fear whatsoever in them. HIS eyes? Still the same. That of a beast.-

"Jean Descole. Your corruption is at it's end."

-Helm's death was the last straw. Now we have enough evidence to put Descole away for good. With the other beast.-

Corruption..?

The man's expression darkened, his hand clawing slightly at the hilt of the sword, his nose wrinkling in a cruel and cold snarl.

"Corruption? What the hell do you mean..? I do my job.."

"You seek needless bloodshed. That is not the path of justice."

"I had wished you would've evolved beyond this." -I close my eyes regretfully and then open them.- "But it seems you haven't."

"You're still the same as our first mission together. Just a beast."

Descole paused quietly, his eyes dark, narrowed under his mask.

And he gave a small chuckle.
And then a laugh, riddled with hate and insanity.

"Please! Stop your joke! I am no beast. If anything, this sick mountain of weasels and diseased maggots called the Ministry is corrupt. If anything, I'm merciful."

-I look at him with ancient eyes and a stern expression. I will not have my sons look up to a man like this.-

"My orders are to bring you in. I won't lie to you, I personally volunteered to."

"Orders..?"

A shocked look. Full of fear of betrayal. A hurt. And a sudden and ferocious anger.

"Who the Hell would ahve the gall to order my arrest! I'm the best thing there is in the Ministry!"

"My orders come from Auror Cayden and were authorized by the Minister himself. Your immoral methods end here."

-There was no pity, no remorse, just duty and resolve in my tone. The mission was what mattered. Anything emotional was insignificant. I will not allow outrage over my nephews demise cloud my reality. Just as Sir Progenitor told me so long ago.-

Descole tensed.

Cayden.. Head Auror Cayden..
The damned old bat. The hag!
What gall! What daring and sick bravery to stand against him!


Descole had his gun out in a moment, pointed at Fade, eyes narrowed harshly, baring his teeth in a snarl of rage.

"Just because your damned nephew, Helm, didn't make it out of a mission because of his own ignorance, does not deserve me a cell in Azkaban."

A gave a cruel smirk.

"Oh, did I hit a nerve? Yes, Helm was a boy. Nothing more in his heart or mind. He wouldn't have made it out, even if I tried to keep him alive... and be thankful your son is still amongst the living. I could very well have made a simple slice and spilled his entrails.."

-Without so much as batting an eyelash or drawing an additional breath, I grab his arm with the gun pointed at me and flip him over my shoulder and then promptly pin him tot he ground and put my hands strategically on his neck and face.-

"Right now, there are 3 ways I could kill you, 6 ways I could cripple you for life, and 9 ways I can put you in unspeakable pain for that last comment. Now you're under arrest..."

A shocked look, Descole lied winded on the ground, the Gun dropped, flung away from him by the force of the throw.

And then anger. Hidden by years of work.
Jean suddenly relaxed in Fade's grip, growing limp on the ground.

And he gave a small smirk.

"... Arrested... funny, I thought it would be much more... threatening.."

-I take my hand off his face and point my wand at his face, not giving him the satisfaction of a reply.-

A chuckle, Descole remained motionless before slowly moving his hand.

"... wrong move.."

He clicked something on his belt, a heavy jet of gas blasting up toward Fade. The same gas that the old Death Eater they had gone after together used to use.
The bubble charm was applied to his face instantly as he squirmed from Fade's grip, rolling to the side, onto his knees, grabbing his sword and holding it at his side as he jumped to his feet.

"I'm not a helpless lamb.."

-Rarely caught off guard, I hold my breath quickly and jump back applying my own bubblehead charm.-

-He's picked up some new tricks, that much I can say for certainty. But so have I.-

"Witness the Power of the Strayer family fully realized."

-I point my wand at my own shadow as though to use the Shadow Mimicry ability but then I slash my wand upward and my shadow seems to be forcibly ripped from the ground. Now it's a 3 dimensional mass of darkness.-

Surprise, Descole took a step back from the shadow, his eyes narrowing.

A snarl broke through his mouth as he readied his sword, grabbing a small device on his belt, unclipping it and speaking with a ferocious tone.

"You see this, Fade Strayer? This is a bomb. Would kill us and the whole of the ministry if I press this button... easy as that.."

OOC Crouch: -Crazy Grin- "Can I have one of those?"

"Only a beast resorts to extremes." -I yell at him and then I hold my wand like the puppet handle you'd see at any puppet show. I give it a series of very fast paced twist and movements and the shadow merges with the ground and shoots forward toward Descole in quite literally a blink of an eye. It snakes it's way up his body and holds all his fingers around the bomb back.-

Descole let out a cry of surprise, shock, and frustration as he was denied even that one silly thought for a safe escape for himself.

"Fine... damn it, get the hell off..!"

A frustrated snarl at the shadow, Descole squirmed in it's hold, surprised at this thing.
Damn it... how to get the upper hand..?
