Chezhekov's Headquarters

OOC Death is the master of subtlety.

IC He casually walked into the mansion acting as if he were making the rounds inside.

Once inside he walked up the stairs to the second floor. He knew that if he were someone who had enough guards walking around his property to fill a small army he'd want a good view of what was going on.

"You there!" Called out one of the guards in a thick Russian accent, "We have enough men on this floor, what are you doing?"

"The boss wanted to talk to me," he said without missing a beat. He looked at the man as if daring him to question his motive. "Is he on this floor?"

"If you were here to see him you'd know exactly what floor he was on..." He points his wand at him, "Now you better convince me better or his janitor's are going to have a hell of a time tonight..."

He held up his hands in a surrendering position. "Okay. Sorry, I'm new here. I just wanted to take a look around, make sure I know the place should something happen. Just doing my job."

This made the guard lower his wand, "Well I suppose I can't kill a guy for an honest mistake..."

He smiled. "Thank you." His smile quickly turned into a smirk. "Too bad it wasn't an honest mistake. Imperio," he said calmly, his wand pointed at the guard at waist level.

The guard's eyes widened as his mind went blank.

"Where is Chezhekov?" he asked calmly, putting his wand back in place.

"Third floor... left hall, all the way down..."

"Good. Go back to your post and stop anyone who tries to come after me. Kill them if you must." He turned on his heel and headed up the third flight of stairs.

"Yes sir!' he goes back to his post, ready to follow his new directives.

Upon his arrival on the third floor he kept an eye out for guards patrolling the hallways as he made his way down the left one.

Two more guards were stationed at the door, each one ready to fight with anyone who so much as looked at them wrong.

He paused and turned back around. He headed back down the stairs before the guards saw him. He'd need back up if he wanted to get inside that room. And he had just the man.

The controlled guard was making his rounds around the parameter...

He whistled and gave a motion for the guard to follow him.

The guard ran to his side, "How may I assist sir?"

"Get rid of the guards at the door as silently as possible." He motioned for the guard to head up the stairs and do just that. He didn't want to bloody his hands more than he needed too.

God you've gone soft. It's a good thing I'm still here amigo.


What took you so long Ahriman? I figured at the first hint of murder you'd be hounding at me like a mutt.

"Yes sir!" He went up the stairs to handle his master's orders...

He waited for a few minutes before heading up the stairs. He headed down the hallway toward the door. "All finished?"

Back in front of the door, where two guards once were there was now three lifeless bodies... whatever this Chezhekov guy was, Death had to face him alone...

He stepped over the lifeless bodies and into the room beyond the door. "Chezhekov," he said as if greeting an old friend.

The russian looked up from his desk, clearly agitated "You must think yourself pretty clever for getting to me... I don't know who hired you but I can tell you I can pay a lot more than they can..."

"Wait, I recognize you..." He looked over his face, "You're Death Dolohov, correct?"

"Yes, that's me." He looked around the room casually. "I'm not doing this for money. I have enough of that."
