Diagon Alley

Vanessa tried to create more distance between them, but the gap between them was slowly closing.

Jack eventually grabs her.

"Let me go!!!!" She demands of him, "My father will make you sorry!"

"On the contrary, I'M going to make YOUR father sorry..."

As she struggles, Eugene steps in having followed Jack here, "Fine work Jack!"

"Do you know how to switch them back?!"

"I think I have a way... with her..."

"Then let's go get it done!!!"

"Let's take her back to our place, and write to Casimir that we have his daughter... the price for her release is his spell research..."

Jack nods, "Let's go!"

He takes Jack and Vanessa's arms and apparates them back to Jack's house.

'Pleasure doing business with you.' He shot the cowering girl a fanged smile, pocketing his piece of parchment into his pocket and skulking through the crowds in the alley. It had been a productive day, making him even happier than usual.

"Up to your old song and dance are you Lukas, you old fox you!" Crouch approached with a pleased but still demented smile on his face, like two mischievous college friends reuniting to cause more hijinks.

'I could say the same for you!' He clapped Crouch on the back, grinning widely. 'Don't you fret, i've been upholding my end of the contract. Kept some tabs for you.'

"Well I certainly hope not THAT close..." He chuckled at his small joke, "You kind of vanished off the map a bit, been missing you!"

'All for a good purpose though.' He said quite cryptically, scanning the crowds. 'Waiting for the right time to strike.'

"Well you know what they say, 'No time like the present..'" His grin grew even more wild as he slowly unsheathed his wand.

Lukas raised a brow, now laughing to himself. 'I forgot how subtle you aren't. Guess I'll hold my information to you for later.' He also drew his wand, but he knew he wouldn't need it. Couldn't have anyone suspecting his status as a kitsune.

"Information? Well now, why don't you tell me that then... I can slaughter people any day of the week... you know what they say, 'killing spree a day keeps the doctors away.' And I don't mean the medical ones..."

He nodded, placing his wand back into his pocket. 'Heard of the little ice queen known as Donia? She's an... interesting one.' He choose his words carefully, smirking.

"I have indeed, can't say I know too much about her though..."

'She likes her mystery.' He had realised this the first time he'd spoken to her. 'Just know she's on your side, and I've given her some... assistance on her project.'

"And what project is that?" Crouch's curiosity grew ever more, making him forget about the veritable buffet of victims swarming around them.

'I'm not sure how much she told you, but she's quite... valuable to me, so i have to respect her privacy.' He said quite flatly, despite the need to tell Crouch everything. 'Imagine your enemies as a suit of armour. She's been tarnishing and cracking little pieces off, one by one. It's only a matter of time before the armour disintegrates, if it hasn't already.'

"And just who has she done this to? I know she mentioned the Desouzas..."
