Diagon Alley

I point my wand in between them and send a force to separate them.

"I'm afraid I can't let you do it."

'Then you're going to be a rice krispie.' he insisted, throwing fire at the man with more rage than before. It was exceptionally bad to get on the wrong side of a kitsune, especially as one as volatile as Lukas.

"Aquamenti." I try to spray down the fire with a volumes of water.

He pushed forward, knowing Aquamenti would prove mostly ineffective against kitsune fire. 'I'm sorry, my magic isnt the same as yours.'

I back step (That's what I'm going to call the gift he has for now) again, leaving behind a fake of me to take the flames while I move a distance away, postulating a strategy.

ic Lukas sighed, deciding to aim fire at their surroundings. 'If you can't be set on fire... everything else will.' there was a few people lingering around, he'd take them hostage if he had to.

"Collateral damage." I shrug it off. I was not a soft heart at all.

Lukas gave up with the guy, just reaching for crouch again.

Gladamier had decided to go out for the day.
Perhaps to get some fresh air. Perhaps to think over the whole matter of this Pitch fellow.

Either way, he was worried sick over the two children who'd been affected by the monstrous Boogeyman.
And the boy.... Topher...? Ged wondered quietly if that arrow Pitch had shot into him had done anything- after all, it had vanished into him in the same instance, hadn't it?

Oh, this all was so mad...



The older fellow had settled himself on the steps of the ice cream shop in Diagon Ally, his hands folded and a bag of sweets in his lap. Even though he was aged, he could certainly enjoy something nice to get his mind off of the madness of everything.
Popping a particularly sour one into his mouth, he gazed restlessly to the sky.

Oh, there was so much to think on....

After returning from the cemetery after catching my pops tombstone up to date, I decide to stop for a drunk and find Ged, "oh hey!"

Ged looked up from his cloud-gazing and glanced to Topher. A smile formed behind his beard, and his scarred face twisted into an expression of soft gladness.

"Why, good morning, Christopher. How are you?"

"Pretty good, just visited my pops..." I take a seat across him, "what brings ya up here?"

Visited his father? But wasn't he-?
Ged frowned to himself; he wouldn't pry.


To answer the boys question, he gave a small smirk and looked to the clouds again.
"Oh, only thinking. I believe I initially came out here to get my mind somewhere where I could actually gather my contemplations. Candy-?"

The man offered the bag of mixed sweets to Topher in a friendly manner.

OOC Topher: "I NEED AN ADULTTTT!!!!"

"No thanks I'm more parched than anything.."

"So any luck finding my crazy gramps?"

(( Ged: I am an adult ))


"... Not since I last saw him, no.."

Ged's reply was a little bit downcast, as he again set the bag in his lap and gave a frown.
".... I've been thinking on what happened, though. I don't think I've ever seen him so worried about something besides his cause; speaking of-"
He again turned his soft eyes to Topher. "Are you all right? After everything that happened with that shadow man..."

"Wha... Yeah so far so good. Nothing bads happened yet"

"Cyns all good too for the most part."

(( I better run and do some school stuff before I get yelled at. I'll be on tonight. ))


"Oh thank the stars.."
Ged sighed, gladly, before nodding.

"... that is all well, then. I'm glad you're all right. I was worried deeply; the thought of that man hasn't allowed me to sleep well in a while."

"Any clue where he might've gotten off to?"

"No, unfortunately. He's harder to track than a breeze..."


Ged scowled and ran his fingers over his beard, "And even if we tried following fear, it's nearly impossible to stalk a shadow."

"Bastard..." I hit the table spilling my drink.

Letting out a breath to control myself, I explain, "Sorry, just... Our everyday baddies don't do anything as sick as him."

"Chimmy views her as a sis, I don't know if ya know that at all."

"I suppose I've been told that, or been hinted to it before," Ged nodded, to let Topher know that he remembered somehow knowing Cyn and Chimmy having a sibling-like relationship.

Ged rubbed his temples quietly. Pitch truly did seem like a sick, sick bastard. Worse than any he had dealt with.
And what he'd done to Cynder....
The man shivered at the thought, feeling ill.

"I appreciate your help, Topher. I'm sorry I cannot be more help to you, either."

"Hey it's cool, ya tried! Puts ya a step above most folk!" I pat his back like he was a friend my own age, despite the overwhelming gap in spryness.

Gladamier gave a smile to Topher, his tired and aged eyes filled with a grateful expression.

"You're a good man, Christopher. How are things with your wife?"
