Honora Castellum

Cynder was shivering, standing her ground, hackles raised, those feathery wings unfurled.
She snarled again, staring with wide-eyed horror at Artemis' body.
A pang of sorrow boiled up in her... but what was this other feeling..?
Almost... hate... and anger at him.
Her blazing, wolfish gaze shot back to Archimedes, and she lunged once more, fangs bared, jaws snapping.


(( hahah! I wondered! ))

Sarah: wha-? -looks surprised-

Liria: I keep it up feeling more anger and...hatred at Artemis-

Anger was bubbling like a fountain, like a geyser ready to explode.
It fuelled her drive, the wolfish thing.
She snapped her jaws at Archimedes' legs, hoping for that wet slap of blood, and the sinking tear of flesh.

-Her teeth sink into my leg and I whelp in pain and start kicking with the other foot- You meddlesome girl!! The Ersatz doesnt love you, why bother trying to help it?!

Foot met jaw and Cynder yelped as she was kicked aside, but soon scrambled to her feet.
... But he was right...
What use was it? He didn't love her...
A new boil of hate filled up in her body and she snarled, muscular canine body trembling.
But this man.. she hated this man more then anything in the world right now...

The world is at peace now can't you see that?! It gave up it's existence for the betterment of mankind!

"You're a fool, Archimedes!" snarled the beast, raising to stand on it's hind paws, returning to a human form.
Cynder's wand was drawn, pointed at the man.

"Did you not hear me before? The world does not survive alone on light or alone on dark. While one lives, so does the other. There won't be a world without shadows, Archimedes, and you're a fool to think otherwise!"

The wolf returned, lunging at Archimedes, aiming for his shoulder, those mad, blazing eyes gleaming with a wild rage.

She would not let go. And, even, she would add a painfully teasing shake.
Anything to appease her anger.

Cynder paused, her jaws open in panting anger, the blood slicking her black fur.
Was she game..?
But this was nothing she lived by... nothing at all... she would not...
She promised..
Not even a crack in her goblet...

The wolf backed up, it's thin body flexing, it's muscular limbs poised and ready for attack.
"I will not murder you..." She spoke gruffly, shaking with rage and shock, "My goblet will not crack..."

-I stand back up- You're just like Liesel, Cynder... noble, true, and almost as good a kisser as she was...

Cynder's hackles stood on end.

"So you're the one...."
The wolf turned human again, eyes wide, a horrified look on her face.
"I kissed.. an old man!"
Her voice was full of disgust, and she glared at Archimedes.
"What's it to you, you damned man? I don't know who this.. Liesel... is, but frankly I don't care any more..."
