"Given the scorch marks I saw on the buildings he ruined, I'd imagine sort of sort of fire based ability. Infinitely useful..." He grinned at all the horrific applications such an ability could be used for in the right mindset.

"I'm thinking an auror barbeque in the future! I'll bring the fries!"

"His hands did seem abnormally warm... Maybe he's a pyrokinetic?"

"oho..." He chuckled, "hand holding, sounds serious..."

Raven rolls her eyes, "It was when we shook hands when we first met..."

"Oh exCUSE me..." He tells her dryly, "I have a sense of humor..."

Raven sighs, "Anyway, he seems too nice a person to be manipulated..."

"Are you kidding me? Nice people are the easiest to manipulate. They always see the best in you, no matter what!"

"But he has morals.  I may not know him too well yet, but he was quite a gentleman..."

"So did you once, but I cured you of that little disease no problem..."

"I barely had any to start with, being enslaved to Eleazer growing up..."

"True you had an easier foundation to build on, but I've been itching for a challenge..."

"How do you plan on manipulating him? Just through his attraction to me?"

"That's the first part. But imagine if you will, there you are on a date with him. Then who should arrive but your ever paranoid nemesis thinking you're meeting with an ally." He spoke like he was narrating an epic tale of heroism.

"And your boyfriend, as the noble gentlemen he is, defends your honor by fighting him off. With him on the bad side of the law, who should offer him asylum but his dear friends?" He laughed maniacally at the plot.

Raven nods, "Great plan! Not that I'm surprised..." She smirks.

"Yes it is rather amazing isn't it?" Never a creature short on vanity, he smiled as he paused from his work to bow as though to an applauding crowd.

Raven applauds just for him, smiling.

A flash of light and one of the widows in the biulding shattered, leaving glass all over the floor, and in the center, an envelope with the name 'Crouch' scrawled messily on it.

The young dark lord came out, furious. "Don't people ever knock?!" He yelled as he made his way to the source of the noise.

Seeing the shattered glass did little to quell his irritation. With a wave of his wand, the glass fixed itself however it would take a lot more than a wave of a wand to fix the damage he would do to the one who interrupted his...-

"What are you?" He asked himself as he picked up a letter and opened it.

So...Guessing I'm dead. Since that is the only way this letter would ever find its way to you. also guessing you had something to do with it.
Hooray, Crouch. You finally did it. You finally got rid of the one person who was your true weakness.
I hope the party of celebration was good.
I'm sat here, in the fading light, writing this in secret, and I will tell you something, brother, a part of me is happy to be going. God, Crouch. I am so tired. So so tired of fighting you. And although I do not know what is after death, I know it has to be better than what I have been living.


I just ask one thing, Crouch. When you think of me, do not think of  they was we have been recently. Remember me as a child. Remember who we once were. Remember the people we were when we found each other again. A small family, but the only people we needed. Please. Because I cannot bare the idea of you hating me forever.
Enclosed in this is a small reminder of the childhoods that we both lose. I hope one day, you can look at it with a smile, not the anger I know you have for me now.

out of the envelope fell a small scrap of parchment, wrinkled and ripped. But n one side, clearing, in the bright colours of a child learning to draw, was a brother and sister, hand in hand, each with a hand raised in the air, holding wands. A childs dream od the future on paper.

The recently crowned dark lord looked at the image that fell to the floor. And that's all he could do. Just stare at it, as though hoping his sister would materialize out of it. 

Of course, like most of his hopes, they were in vain. Hopes were what people clinged to when reality left them nothing else. And the proof of it lay before him.

He had done all this, killed so many, stirred up so much anarky and destruction... all to avenge losing the one person whom had mattered to him. And now even she was destroyed. The same loss twice, and this time, he didn't have a memory spell to help him forget her...

Here he stood, back to square one. His pain renewed and his anguish all the greater knowing he was responsible...

That haunting picture all that seemed to exist in the world at the moment.

Amy made her way towards the estate. A little worse for wear from yet another extended absence. Blood splatter was almost artfully splashed across her slightly torn jacket and shirt. Pale fingers clutched a small leatherbound book in her hand, the other cradling her ribs. Mud caked boots scrapped the stairs lightly as she climbed them wearily. Giving a soft sigh of relief to be home.

He had remained stationary, his ears only barely registering the door opening. His eyes were still cast downward to the picture that was the last gift from sister.

Her jacket was tossed onto the end of the banister carelessly though her grip never wavered from the small book. Completely oblivious to the muddy trail she left ad she approached him. "Love? " her voice was soft and hinted concern as she touched his shoulder delicately.

He turned to look upon her, "Sweetie, sorry I didn't hear you come in..." He tried his best to smile, but it was easy for those who knew him to tell his genuine insane smiles from his somber ones that tried to hide hurt...

Her eyes searched his for a moment, wrapping her arms around him tightly in the warmest embrace a vampire was capable of she whispered softly " tell me what's happened... "
